I saw a news recently that rudigar is out of contact at Madrid next summer and that Chelsea could consider bringing him back. Don't know if there's any one knows anything about it.

Holly Molly, I hope there is no truth to that story.

It’s generally never a good idea for players to come back and Rudgier would expect massive wages. Sadly though, he’s better than anyone we have at CB.

I think we should let bygones be bygones with Rudiger and just enjoy the memories of when he was at top of his game for us before leaving and was out with leg injury in September . i think for several months . having alresdy had a knee op in April so having a tough time lately.

Perhaps he could be signed if on a free transfer but would not know what wages he'd be on if so or whether fact he could play left centre back plus experience and will to win he might offer would outweigh probability that injuries and age and wages and levi C hopefully fit again by end of season counts more against resigning?

No chance I would take him since he jumped the ship.

he didn't jump ship- we weren't able to offer him a contract, he had the right to look after himself and moved elsewhere- its a short life don't blame him for not waiting around to find out what was going to happen.

Rudiger did jump ship, he made it perfectly clear he was running his contract down to get his move to Madrid. Would be a terrible signing similiar to Sterling, fortunately the owners have learned some valuable lessons and won't sign him.
