It is about whether you have an outstanding fees to pay out on them from signing them initially and potential sell-on clauses etc. He is close to pure profit but not entirely pure profit. For starters there really is no such thing as (unless the player hands in a written transfer request) 5% of the transfer fee goes to the player. Then there is another 5% which is split between the teams that the player was with in youth football, a thank you for developing a youth system and to keep teams wanting to have an academy. That will mean you have to split some of that 5% with Spurs.}

Still ed i think (my opinion) that £25 mill for a player that has been injured for nearly 2 years is another great deal from our club. I assume there will be a sell on fee included as there has been with most players we have sold.

Must admit we now sell players for good prices which was the case before now. It's a positive one from the board.
