Ed do Chelsea have any Interest in Ross Barkley?

Thanks

One Bomb Tom

{Ed002's Note - Chelsea has shown an interest in the past but he has not been for sale.}

1.) 16 May 2015 12:07:11
Barkley would be a massive signing, but Everton doesn't want to sell. At least that's what they're saying.

2.) 16 May 2015 14:01:17
Ed do you think Chelsea could show interest again if they miss out on other targets?

{Ed002's Note - Chelsea will not buy just for the sake of it.}

Have Chelsea ever considered luis Muriel?

Thanks

One Bomb Tom

{Ed002's Note - There was plenty of interest in Luis Muriel over last summer but none from England. Muriel he has signed a new long term contract at Udinese, but there is still interest from Fiorentina, Atletico Madrid and AC Milan. His focus is on getting in to the Columbian side for the World Cup and then perhaps he will see what offers are on the table this summer as he is not getting as much game time as he wants. Getting a work permit may not be easy either.}

Ed002, do you contribute your football knowledge to any other sites? {Ed002's Note - Not as such}

One Bomb Tom

1.) You should, it would be very interesting to read.
Thanks

2.) As much as I agree with you OBT, I think the Eds get enough grief from the trolling tossers on this site, let alone want further abuse from losers on other sites.

3.) The eds get abuse true but not always from trollers a lot of stick is from the chelsea fans on here pinky is one to name and shame but as the eds will tell you there are plenty of others too.

dave

4.) Id Agree, the trolling is outrageous, but if they wrote on a site / newspaper where its not a forum style rather than a insight article similar to WAGNH.

5.) Ed002, are u the guy behind the chelseadaft website. {Ed002's Note - Never heard of it.}

6.) Everyone should read WAGNH.

7.) 14 Jun 2013 01:00:39
All WAGNH is, is a bunch of Americans reporting twitter nonsense. Go on there three separate days, you'll be told Schurrle has signed, he hasn't the next, he might of the third. It's absolute tosh

8.) That's a yes then

Ed is there any news on Neilton since last asked in Late March?
Thank you {Ed002's Note - Nothing at all.}

One Bomb Tom

1.) Do you think he is still a target and will leave him at Santos till he is either ready or someone else goes in for him? {Ed002's Note - I have not thought about it at all.}

06 Jun 2013 15:01:21
Ed, how many teams are interested in Pierre-Emerick Aubemeyang? and do you see him moving this transfer window?
THanks
One Bomb Tom {Ed002's Note - After a year or so St Etienne Aubameyang has attracted the attention of Fiorentina, Dortmund, Manchester City, Inter, Chelsea, Manchester United, Zenit St Pete, Newcastle, Aston Villa, Spurs and PSG, probably amongst others. He has said in the past the one day his dream would be to return to play with a great Milan side. I understand that if a significant bid is made that St Et will give it due consideration. Such a bid is being pondered by Chelsea, Dortmund and by Fiorentina, and I suspect Manchester City could look again as an alternative to Jovetic. I don't see the interest from Inter resulting in a move.}

One Bomb Tom

1.) Thanks Ed, I think he would be a great addition to our team and add that something we've been missing in attack.

One Bomb Tom

{Ed002's Note - Not at this time.}

Unfortunately I don't think Mceachran will make the step up we had hoped he would.
he shows glipse's of greatness but few and far between and he will make a a good midfielder for a lower Prem side just not Chelsea.
(I hope I am wrong)

One Bomb Tom

1.) Physically I cannot see that he is at a high enough level, he looks physically weak and slow across the ground.
He plays clever passes but if we continue with two mids I cannot see him making it at CFC because he needs to be able to move round the pitch and bully other players, it is a shame because a season or two ago I thought he would be pushing for a first team place now.

2.) Disagree, he's what we are missing in midfield. That link up between here and attackers.

3.) He's only 20 years old. still plenty of time to fulfil his potential.

4.) To the guy who replied first, did you hit your head during your reply? First you say he is physically weak and slow across the ground which you then back up by saying he needs to play in a one man midfield, so he can bully defeences and move around the pitch. Which is it mate? Maybe you should find a new sport

Nathan Ake looks like Ruud Gullit why he signed for us, if he can become a fraction of Gullit we have a star on our hands! give him more game time.

I am a little worried for the future on Chelsea, I understand we have a great crop of young players coming through and from what I've seen they could be amazing players, but these players are very young and I feel next season could be an embarrassing one like this season, but with that being said I wouldn't mind having a trophyless season if we used it to use our young players week in week out and bedded them in for future success, rather than loan them out and buy some foreign flop for stupid money!

One Bomb Tom

1.) Im sorry mate but if we had kept avb we would of nearlt finished the transition and finished intergrating a new squad. were not guna finish this untill a manager is given a season building a team, also moving on lamps and a few othERS.

2.) I think next season is the biggest in the last 10 years in my opinion since Abramovich took over.

We will be looking to replace Benitez as manager and bring someone else in (hopefully for the long term)

We will be selling or releasing a few Chelsea veterans and or sub par players such as Benayoun, Bruma, Torres, Ferriera, Lampard, Malouda, Essein and so on.

We will be looking for a world class striker who has performed on a consistent basis for many years which will probably comprise of a large transfer fee Cavani/Falcao.

We will be assessing lots of promising youth and sending them back out on developmental loans or bringing them into the 1st team. Kalas, Chalobah, Kakuta, Lukaku, Kevin De Bruyne, T Hazard, Piazon and so on

I also feel next season some players may be in the last year for Chelsea/playing for there team selection, John Terry, Ashley Cole, Mikel, Marin, Petr Cech.

Very interesting season coming up

PB1989

3.) I'd much rather have players go on loan to clubs that use them (courtois and kdb) than sit on the bench and play reserve matches. Just look at lukaku. Last year he didn't get any time and stalled his development. This season he's on loan and getting time and appears a different player entirely.

Tk

Its common knowledge ...

{Ed002's Note - He won't be moving to Zenit.}

Yes he is 32 but he has a lot of experience and won the champions league 3 times, and would apprantley take wages of about £75k a week and on a free transfer,

Odemeingie = are you mental?

He is classed as home grown because he has been a Chelsea player for 3 years prior to turning 21, regardless of where he goes on loan.

The thing is Teams like Napoli can't buy ready made stars so they buy plays with potential like Aubameyang, In a way i'd rather Chelsea buy Aubameyang because he was tons of potential he plays like Thierry Henry.

His buyout is 63Euros so yeah £56 - £58 m sounds about right, its a believable amount.
But we've been getting closed to that figure the last 10days

I'd hope so Steve, he is a player who will become world class. i'd rather have a player who will become world class for 20m rather than one who is already reached world class 50m+
