Hi ed just a question if Milan move for Drogba in January as reported will Chelsea try and use him as a makeweight for Pato
Ian {Ed002's Note - I think it unlikely. I think with the injury problems that he has suffered it may be tough to move Pato on at a fee Milan would find acceptable.}

I heard Berlusconi wants $2.2tn for Pato.

ED002 has Neymar signed a new deal at Santos which keeps him there till the after the 2014 world cup? is this just to make sure the get more for him now? {Ed002's Note - No that is not the reason. As I have explained to you on many occasions I would just ignore all of the rumours and hype surrounding Neymar.}

It is claimed that representatives of Liverpool have been in contact with the Catalan’s and now Chelsea have also shown interest.
The 29 year-old Spanish international has bagged just 7 goals from 17 appearances in the current campaign and is discontent with being forced to play out wide to accommodate goal-machine Lionel Messi. There has said to be some ‘friction’ between the two players over recent weeks even though it has been refuted by Barca manager, Pep Guardiola.
Villa has always stated he’d like to remain in Spain but a big money move to the Premiership may be on the cards in January if Liverpool or Chelsea are prepared to stump up the £30m asking price – a large sum for a 29 year-old! Nevertheless, Villa’s signing would be a major coup for either club.
Liverpool have been linked with the striker on several previous occasions, namely in 2006 when ex-boss Rafa Benitez opted for Dutchman, Dirk Kuyt instead. The Mersey-sider’s need to find a cutting edge from somewhere and Villa could prove to be the answer to their recent failings in front of goal.
Chelsea have also been strongly linked with the Barca striker in recent seasons and with international teammate Torres still misfiring for the Blues and Didier Drogba likely to be offloaded next summer, a move for David Villa could be imminent.
Thoughts ed
CLBVSHG {Ed001's Note - clearly the piece in question has been poorly researched, Kuyt was not chosen in preference to Villa at all. I have no idea who the journalist who wrote this is, but it is complete nonsense and makes the rest of the piece seem extremely unbelievable. The move for Villa fell through when the then owners blocked the release of the money, after the deal had all been agreed.}

Just heard from my source in brazil that we can expect to see serious negotiations for Ganso in the transfer window a deal worth around £32 million is being suggested.
Cahill and De Bruyne deals are to be concluded at beginning of transfer window.
VDW is a possible in January but is more likely in the summer although Chelsea we try to push the deal through in January.
This bit of info is not confirmed and I am trying to find out more but it involves Tevez and a deal in region of £40 million.

Most of that seems believable and in sync with Ed 002 comments on here.
However I really cant see Citeh selling us Tevez unless its a stupid offer (£40m),the like of which they cant get anywhere else.
It would be a huge risk plus wages we couldnt sustain which makes me think it wont happen.

I'd echo the comment above, all ties in with what has been rumoured before. Personally, I think the Tevez rumour won't happen, purely from a wage perspective (although you could argue if Drogba and Anelka went, it'd seem a little more likely). If Ajax progess in the CL, I think any move for VdW would be delayed until the summer.

I am amazed anyone would want a nuisance like Tevez at their club. Anyone who uses his kids to extort cash from a football club is truly vile.
