CHELSEA have stolen a march on Liverpool over the signing of Nabil Fekir in a £62m move, reports say.

I think he's top class, but can't see him fitting in without a couple of high profile exits.

Fekir loves to dribble and take players on, has that quality in final 3rd too, and with our slow build up he would be great for us, tricky player who creates and scores.

Matt Martin - I would love to get Fakir but far more importantly I want us to get a manager who DOESN'T play with a slow build up and wants to attack teams and is not stuck in the year 2000 with Catenaccio tactics (see Mourinho / see Conte) .
Chels will not buy Fakir if Conte remains as manager cos Conte wouldn't trust him and would probably rather have Marouane Fellaini!

Fekir is good, but he's not Hazard levels of good. He shines at Lyon because the overall level is a fair bit lower than the PL, but he's also prone to endless diving and various antics to wind up opponents, which makes him card prone. I wouldn't mind him at Chels, but if he goes elsewhere I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. It's a gamble whether he'd fit into the PL.
{Ed001's Note - I am not aware of any interest, though I would think a lot of that is to do with him not really having a place in the way Chelsea play, rather than no one at the club thinking he is worth going for.}
