Ed on the man it'd page you said that the preferred choice has been in place but it wasn't supposed to happen til next year. This would tie in with mourinho contract at Real Madrid. That is why ferguson is retiring now because Jose is leaving Madrid and don't want him going back to chelsea or psg.

I posted on the United page a couple of months ago about Solksjaer being possibly the preferred choice. I got the info from a family member linked very very closely to OGS. Going off what Ed has just said about the preferred choice being identified a few months ago, and that Ferguson was expected to leave at the end of next season, it would link in with what I was told.
