Hey ed, I remember a while back we had an interest in calhanoglu. Is that still there or have we moved on?

Saw a great write up from you on the Liverpool page regarding the summer plans and I was wondering if you could perhaps do the same for Chelsea? If you've got the time of course :)

{Ed002's Note - Some of this will change by the summer and there are major dependencies on (a) players leaving, and (b) how much money the club can raised through salesn. However, there is known to be (or have recently been) some level of interest in the following players:

GK: Kalinic, Ruddy
RB: Darmain (won't happen if Ivanovic signs an extension), Manea (will go on loan)
CB: Varane, Marquinhos, Balanta (unlikely)
DM: Leander Dendoncker (effectively a Romeu replacement)
M: Pogba (will be difficult), Koke (will be difficult), Youri Tielemans (would go on loan), Sinkgraven (perhaps in 2017 as he has moved to Ajax from Heerenveen for his development), Khedira (very unlikely)
AM/W/F: Icardi (preferable but looking a little unlikely), Dybala (possible option if a deal for Icardi can't be done), Malcom (will be a battle to get him but certainly possible), Lee (won't happen), Kishna (unlikely), Bakkali (I suspect Chelsea has stepped back from their previous interest), Talisca (perhaps 2016), Bellarabi (most unlikely), Pedro (unlikely)}

Interesting to see that apart from Khedira, who seems unlikely, Dendoncker is the only defensive midfield player on that list. Tielemans and him are very talented and I'd be thrilled if we signed one of them or both :)

Great info Ed, I would be thrilled to see Koke and Varane. Maybe even Danny Ings on a free if Drogba leaves.
