Ed002 is there any transfer update on Markel Susaeta from Bilbao?

Thanks

Dave {Ed002's Note - Having checked today, nothing.}

Believable4 Unbelievable1

Anything New ED? as you have checked today? {Ed002's Note - On Susaeta, no. Were you slow at school?}

Agree0 Disagree0

I think he meant in general.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed002 you proper crack me up with your replys...

Eds do you know anything on the three musonda brothers from anderlecht,apparently future stars.Also are we about to bid for fellani or showing a real intrest in him. {Ed002's Note - No idea.}

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Good shout, the signing of the 3 brothers is all over the net ... Just watched a youtube vid of the youngest (Charley) who looked a real talent but him and his father where barking on about Barca ... Good to see we are investing in future talents if this is true but we need to start bringing some through otherwise it is all pointless

News from Brussels that Chelsea have signed brothers Lamisha (16), Tyka (14) & Charles (12) Musonda from Anderlecht. No fee revealed.
True? Do u know anything about these players?? {Ed002's Note - I really have no idea about them.}

Believable4 Unbelievable1

And Massala (2). What on earth was this all about?

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes, they are all signed. Barcalona and Man City were both trying to sign them along with some other clubs. They are very highly rated around the world (obviously some parts not so much!) But Yes, they are a good prospect for the future!

Agree0 Disagree0

You got the ages wrong mate. Lamisha is 20. Tika is 18. And Charly Jr is 15.

Hi Ed,

Are Chelsea still interested in Alan Dzagoev of CSKA Moskow? {Ed002's Note - Dzagoev has interested Chelsea in the past but Arsenal have shown a lot of interest this past year including sending a contingent to watch him play in Moscow back last summer. He will be available on a free transfer at the end of the year, not in the summer.}

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Is it possible for Chelsea to look to buy the player this summer ed? {Ed002's Note - Is he playing well? MOTD fever?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Does that mean he's free to talk to clubs now with a view to join in January. Surely worth getting on a free,not just on tonight's performance but he's been singled out as a future star for Russia for the last few years. Also can play in defence

Agree0 Disagree0

Of course ED scored 2 goals today lol : )

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope Chelsea don't waste a squad place on him, yes he scored against a very poor side, but saw nothing special from him, quite ordinary by the look of things. Arshavin stood out for Russia. Dzagoev won't be anything more than a squad player and i'd rather we give those places to our youth or spend the money on top quality.

Agree0 Disagree0

Tbf whilst i agree that he was only playing against a mediocre side, the fact that he is considered Russia's next big thing and that he could possibly sign as a free, he definitely deserves to be considered.

Agree0 Disagree0

Zhirkov was labelled the russian Ronaldinho...that's all i'm going to say.

Agree0 Disagree0

I still think Zhirkov would have turned out to be a very important player for us if he had been given a good amount of playing time.

Agree0 Disagree0

Zhirkov is a good player, but had no chance with cole in the side. if we had him now we could've played with a genuine winger on the left all season instead of mata or bloody malouda.

Ed,Any interest in Mathieu Debuchy, prefere him to VDW, bit older but in top form. Cheers {Ed002's Note - Not right now - Chelsea have identified the two RBs that they are interested in.}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Ed, sorry if i've missed something but whos the other RB thats not VDW, Cheers. {Ed002's Note - Azpilicueta.}

Ed how many home grown players do we need in the squad for next season? With that in mind are we looking at any English players to bring in?

Jim {Ed002's Note - None. The effective limitation is 17 non home grown players in a squad of a maximum size of 25. So if the squad is only 20 players - at least three must be home grown.}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Ed, what players at the moment class as Home Grown?, Cheers {Ed002's Note - You can go figure that out yourself easily enough.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Oooh, choose me. Terry, Cole, lampard, Sturridge, Cahill?

Agree0 Disagree0

^ Bertrand and Turnbull too I'd assume.

Hutch too. What's the cut off age? 21 right?

Roweycfc

Agree0 Disagree0

Homegrown doesnt mean english though does it? Isnt it played for the club for 3 years before their 21st birthday - or something along those lines? Thats why clubs (not Just Chelsea) are signing 17/18 year olds so they become eligeable for home grown status.

i believe Mikel counts - and its a reason to keep him, as would Kakuta - along with players like Lukaku and Piason when they reach 21.

ED when you said there was Broad agreement with Porto over Hulk what that a broad agreement in the value of the player or that they would sell the player? If we do not sign him is another winger still on the cards?

BLUEBLOOD {Ed002's Note - There is broad agreement over the sale of the player - not the fee. Cheslea are not going to make any knee jerk reactions and buy just for the sake of it. If a player the club are interested in becomes available there is a good chance that efforts will be made to sign him. For now there is interest in Hulk.}

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Is there still strong interest in Falcao and Cavani? {Ed002's Note - Interest remains, yes.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Whoever is the manager will they have a say ED02? say Di Matteo is given the job and is interested in a player will the club go ahead and try to sign that player? {Ed002's Note - Possibly - it depends on views of others and who the player is.}

Do we have interest in victor moses ed? {Ed002's Note - Not that I am aware.}

I was just wondering that us been strongly linked to lucas moura and fellaini . . .how will they both fit into the starting 11?that too along with ramires and lampard?

Ramires is already a legend for me,his performance this season has been class.

Lampard has still two good years left with him according to me and his experience will count and also help the young guns of the future like moura n hazard.

Now the point is if we have bought hazard and hulk will follow soon and marin being the cover for them,the attacking three is all but fixed and perfect.

Bringing on fellaini who has enough experience in PL not to be benched.

Bringing on lucas moura,surely young but paying about 40m for a 19-year old should no doubt mean that he'll join to be in regular first team.

So the midfield three in the starting 11 could be a tricky one next season.

I think we should stick to moura only.

Any thoughts on this?
Ed002,u do a fantastic work. Gr8 sense of humor.

Blue Warrior
Kings of europe
19-05-2012 {Ed002's Note - Whilst I would not hold my breath over Moura arriving you do need to remember that it is a squad being put together, not a team.}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

For about the fifth time Moura is not coming this year. He doesn't want to move before the next world cup.

Agree0 Disagree0

What he said. Moura wants to go to Madrid aswell.

Agree0 Disagree0

And when he does move it will probably be inter or madrid

Ed, have Chelsea some interrest in R. Lewandovski from Dortmund?

I think he's a good back-up, young and sharp and cheap too (I think) {Ed002's Note - Dortmund's Lewandowski has been watched by Liverpool, Rubin Kazan, Manchester United, Spartak Moscow (who are concerned about losing Welliton) and Lille. I very much suspect Bayern Munich would be top of the list with a cheque in hand should he not agree an extension at Dortmund but Dortmund certainly do not want to sell him to BM. The other more viable option is Manchester United. At present they have been unable to reach agreement over a new deal but that does not mean that they won't.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Who's interested in Wellington ed? {Ed002's Note - Borussia Dortmund have a sustained interest in Welliton.}

Is Robert lewendenski from Dortmund joining Manchester utd, good striker and young was hoping he was being looked at by Chelsea, {Ed002's Note - Dortmund's Lewandowski has been watched by Liverpool, Rubin Kazan, Manchester United, Spartak Moscow (who are concerned about losing Welliton) and Lille. We've got 2 on the left Marin,Hazard now lets get 2 on the right now adding Ben Arfa to Hulk?depth is the key with our amount of football.

Believable7 Unbelievable8

I don't think the attacking players positions will be quite that distinct.

IB.

Agree0 Disagree0

R ut thick mate youll be looking at about 20 million for ben arfa who would be a sub whers the logic in that.

Agree0 Disagree0

Be rotations between mata and hazard or mata and marin or marin and hazard i would say depending who plays (by rotations i mean left wing and more central) but i would imagine hulk would stay on the right mayb act as a striker if torres doesnt play in which case i could see marin or hazard going to the right

curt

Agree0 Disagree0

Hulk will second striker to partner with Torres.Cavani will probably join CFC as 4th striker.

Agree0 Disagree0

This isn't fantasy football/football manager. Besides, Sturridge and Ramires can both play on the right

Agree0 Disagree0

Central Mid/Left players will rotate (both from match to match and in match), between Hazard, Marin and Mata - with Malouda as cover if he doesnt leave.

Right side and strikers will rotate the same, using Torres, Hulk and Sturridge as the 3 - Ramirez can play right as well should we need - as can Kakuta if he makes the squad this year.

Do you see us making a move for soldado in the summer ed ? there seemed to be a bit of talk about it a few months back {Ed002's Note - No.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

08 Jun 2012 13:22:49
Are all the report's that Hulk's agent may be in London next week to speak to Chelsea false ED? {Ed002's Note - Twitter again is this?}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Lets hope hes going to sign for us i think personally he wont get started at madrid however if he opts for madrid we could take a look at signing di maria

curt

Agree0 Disagree0

I hadnt thought of that Curt, but it's not a bad shout.
Personally, I think I'd actually prefer Di Maria in some ways. He's proven at a higher level, and seems more of an assister to me, which I think we need, rather than another goal scorer.

Roweycfc

Agree0 Disagree0

Yer that is hulks only fault hes a bit like robben would rather cut in and shoot than assist we will see

Hey Ed just wanted to ask about a couple of players, Thomas Muller and Jovetic, do we retain an interest in either of these players? I know at various points over the past two years we have but i didn't know if we do now? Cheers. {Ed002's Note - Manchester United, Lazio and Chelsea failed with bids for Muller after the world cup. If he is available this summer there may well be interest from Chelsea at the right price.

Arsenal did show previous interest in Jovetic, but Roma, Chelsea and Napoli remain interested if and when he becomes available if the price is acceptable.}

ED Just a quickey in the hulk situation. One minute is a relitively done deal then we hear that the two clubs are miles apart on valuation. I thought we had a good relationship with porto. Many thanks and keep up the good work. jim {Ed002's Note - I cannot comment on what you have heard at all. The situation remains as it was and as I explained.}

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Is Gael Etock on loan at Sporting Lisbon or has he moved there permanently? Thanks CFCSteve {Ed002's Note - I don't know what the situation is with Etock.}

Where does the club stand on Oriol Romeu, because whenever he has played he has played the holding midfielder role quite well. I would even say at times better than Mikel. How does the club value him, especially RDM. Because he seemed to fall out of favor when RDM came in. Will they be looking to move him on or do they think he can make more than the 20 appearances he made last year? {Ed002's Note - He is a squad member. Last season he had suffer both illness and injury in addition to Mikel playing well. I don't see a problem.}

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Hes only young as well to be fair he will get better and take mikels place eventually

curt

Agree0 Disagree0

Could you elaborate on his illness? Last season he disappeared for a long stretch round midseason without much of an explanation, wondered what happened to him. {Ed002's Note - I can't "elaborate" on his illness. Sorry.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes not that good hes so overated Mikel is miles better than him.

Hey eds, howcome United look set to get Modric fir 25million yet we get a deal worth 40 million turned down last season... Plus kaghowa seemed very cheap too... Why do we always seem to pay over the odds for players? Will we be in for Modric at that price? {Ed002's Note - I don't know of any such deal for Modric to move to Chelsea.}

Believable6 Unbelievable1

It was reported in the sun, only children believe what the sun report! {Ed002's Note - There is a vedry good chance that a deal will be completed with Manchester United.}

Agree0 Disagree0

A very good chance of Modric to United? Has the player expressed a preference? {Ed002's Note - A preference for what? Tea or coffee?}

Agree0 Disagree0

A preference for United as opposed to other interested teams, of course.

Agree0 Disagree0

Modric is s**te what did he actually do this season?

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed, can you tell us what actually happened with Modric last season? Was it the media that made it seem like we were chasing him? I know you were opposed to it but it also seemed like you knew it wouldn't happen all along. Maybe AVB really wanted him and we probably made one offer around 25M and were denied? I'm not sure I believe all the other mess about 40M offers and such.

Cleveland Blue {Ed002's Note - I have hardly got time to deal with this years dealings and have no interest in going over anything historical. Please try the search function.}

Agree0 Disagree0

The way I see it, Tottenham had the leverage of Champions League football (I think) and no NEED to sell with us. They drew out the saga because they had no intention of lettng the player go, despite assurances they would if a 'bigger', more successful team came in. Now they don't, so £25m for a player who probbly still desires to move is better than nothing. Plus, like others have said, he didn't exactly set the league on fire. Because of the way they deal, I sincerely hope they lose Modric, Walker, van der Vaart, Bale etc.. I woldn't want to give a penny o Levy! With Kagawa, being in the last year of his contract next year meant sell relatively cheap or lose the player for free. Man United were just lucky that a player who met their requirements and admired thirclub became vailabl when he did.

Ed 002 Is there any truth that the club are set to offer Robbie a one year rolling contract?
Thanks. {Ed002's Note - There is a good chance that he will be offered a contract.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Have you any idea what the terms might be?
If as reported its a 12 month rolling contract I cant see him accepting for obvious reasons..Guardiola. {Ed002's Note - The terms are irrelevant.}

Ed, I asked you last week about what was happening with hulk and you said you were travelling and would come back with more info, what info have you got and is there any notable update? thanks. {Ed002's Note - The situation with Hulk remains that there is no agreement over a transfer fee and there remains some interest from Real Madrid. I expect that Porto will have to lower their financial expectations for a deal to be completed. It remains probable that something can be done.}

Believable1 Unbelievable2

07 Jun 2012 19:24:46
Hello ed, Do Chelsea hold interest in Moura still? or does a transfer to Madrid beckon? {Ed002's Note - There is still interest from Chelsea, Inter Milan and Real Madrid. Real Madrid will propose a deal with Kaka moving to Brazil in exchange. Cheslea have looked to seeing if a deal can be done either for cash or with part ownership and the player staying in Brazil for a period before moving to London. His family have visited Madrid twice.}
