Hi Ed. Any recent interest in James McCarthy of Wigan? It's common knowledge we're looking for 2 forwards, how many midfielders would we look to bring in and will whether the fact Lamps stays or goes have any implication on how we model our midfield for next season? {Ed002's Note - (1) Nope. (2) At least one. (3) I don't understand what you mean by "model".}

I should think by the noun 'model' he means a schematic of a system or theory for which the club (Chelsea) will adhere to in relation to the midfield. Hope this clears that up.

How we shape it. I. E if Lamps leaves will we bring in 2 midfielders one of which being an attacking midfielder like Lamps and one defensive midfielder or if he stays will it be the 1 midfielder, likely to be defensive minded. {Ed002's Note - I really can't help with that, sorry.}
