Not so sure if I'd be happy with fellani, good player and not mega money and is gd for Orem just not convinced, also agree with ed, shurrle is a too too young player and think he should be our second striker, hopefully hulk comes in, if not another winger

Just been talking to a bloke I know who has a few bars in the Algarve. He also is a bit of a middle man for football deals. He reckons Hulk to madrid is hotting up.
Not my info, just passing it on.
Luke

Believable3 Unbelievable10

A "bloke" you know ....... how well do you know him because it looks like hes talkin rubbish mate

curt {Ed002's Note - There is certainly interest from Real Madris. Why are you so obnoxious?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Keep your noise down Curt. You melt!

Agree0 Disagree0

ed hulk might be interesting madrid but people dont need to claim they no a "middle" man to transfer deals when they clearly dont and if they did the middle man would keep quiet

curt {Ed002's Note - How do you know that he did not meet someone in a bar? Why are you so obnoxious?}

Agree0 Disagree0

He said he KNOWS a man

im not disputing he might know someone im disputing the fact if he was part of football deals he wouldnt be randomly blurting these deals out to people in a pub you know?

curt {Ed002's Note - That is not what you wrote. Dumb and obnoxious.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I said how well do you know him .......

and you call me arrogant ........

curt {Ed002's Note - Read what you wrote. And I did not call you arrogant. I called you dumb and obnoxious. }

Ed002 do you think Raul Meireles will be a chelea player next season? {Ed002's Note - There is a good chance he will not be.}

Believable4 Unbelievable3

Where could he possible be heading?

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed,

For what reasons would he not be? Through his own preferences or because the club see it fit he move on? {Ed002's Note - The reasons are irrelevant really but he will have an option in Italy with Napoli.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi ed, is there any news on if Raul wants to stay? and which clubs are interested in him? also i would expect that if he were to leave we would look for a replacement?

Thanks mate!

Are you back from your travels now? if so how was it all?

Dan1CFC {Ed002's Note - The trip was fine thanks Dan. Juventus and PSG were looking at Raul Meireles but interest from Napoli is strongest right now.}

Agree0 Disagree0

If he does go I wish him all the best. He's done a difficult job this season for us when he's come in and his goal against Benfica was a screamer. Some people haven't rated him, but as a squad player I don't see many better who can come in and fill that role. Hopefully we recoup most of the mony paid for him, though, which I saw as a bit high in the first place.

Ed is there it true that chelsea could be signing gregory van der wiel from ajax for 18 million and have already agreed a fee with porto for hulk in the region for about 40 million ? {Ed002's Note - No.}

ED reports say Di Matteo is close to signing a deal to keep him as Chelsea boss is this true? {Ed002's Note - It is more than possible that a deal will be offered to Roberto di Matteo.}

Believable4 Unbelievable0

He deserves it well done roman even if it is only to wait for pep

ED, there has been speculation that RDM will only be offered a rolling one year contract. Is it in view of a potential return for Pep after a year to Chelsea? Thanks

TM {Ed002's Note - I would not necessarily link the two things.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Would RDM's contract be a one year rolling contract or a lengthy one?

Thanks for the info

TM {Ed002's Note - Nothing has been decided just yet but there should be some news on the managerial situation pretty soon.}

With the players we have already brought in Marin,Hazard,Hulk(soon) and Torres giving the nod to be the main man next season, I don't see us getting Falcao or Cavani to be honest. I certainly like the idea of getting a striker that would be back up to Torres, cause I for one don't want sturridge for obvious reasons. I would like it to be Alvaro Negredo . The fella is awesome in the air, has great technique ,and pretty quick. I've watched him on more than one occassion and I've been pretty impressed ,plus he would be cheap,he's at a good age(26) and one of the strikers for spain at the Euros which shows he is class (picked over Soldado). He was linked with us a while back. ED do you think he is an option ,cause I remeber something about him being offered to us. First time I'm asking you a question ED so please be nice :). Thanks in advance.

ELI {Ed002's Note - Negredo was offered to Chelsea last year but I understand not for sale right now. That could change if he does well at the Euros and a high bid is made by someone.}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Yeah but don't forget that hulk can play as a striker.. And tbh I don't think lukaku will go anywhere.. We got a lot in depth now we bought a couple the only spot we meet to fill now is a back up RB then!

Hi Ed, is it true de bruyne going to Southampton on loan to gain prem experience {Ed002's Note - There are several options available - one of which is Southampton. No decision has been taken yet.}

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Southampton would be good
trout

Agree0 Disagree0

It will be good for both chelsea and de bruyne, so he can gain experience and show us what he's capable of, but also so chelsea can keep a close eye on him and his progress

It is interesting that there are rumours circulating about the return of Joe Cole and Steve Clarke.Personally,I would love to see them both back.Joe ,as we all know,is one of the most skilled players ever to play for us.I think Loserpools are fools for letting skilled players such as Aquilani and Joe go.Absolute fools.I mean look at the players on their team.Good luck with playing "Tiki-taka" football with those players.In my view Joe can take up Benayoun's place or Malouda's and can help Hazard develop even more and settle in quickly.Clarke can do an amazing job with developing our youth system,which has many talented players in it.With Joe(if he comes) and Piazon coming in along with the new signing we would be the best ball playing ,skilled team in Europe.Last time we won the Champions League by playing defensive football ,this time we will win it by playing teams off the pitch.With the players that are coming in Man City are the only team that are capable of challenging us in the Premier League.

Believable7 Unbelievable8

Steve Clarke is set to be announced as the new Baggies manager, and i highly doubt that Joe Cole will return to sit on the bench, as that was the reason he didn't sign a contract extension in the first place. Not to mention that a) he's 31 and b) BR has said he will be looking at the loanee's (Cole and Aquilani) and deciding their future.

Jordi Alba to Chelsea?

The 22-year-old is rated one of the best young talents in Spain and has been strongly linked with a move to Stamford Bridge. But reports in Spain suggest that Barcelona have an advanced agreement to sign the talented left back, but they have yet to agree terms with Alba.

Alba will be out of contract with Valencia at the end of next season and they will not want to risk him walking away as a free agent.
LiamsBiz

Believable8 Unbelievable7

I think Alba will be Barca bound if anywhere.

IB.

Agree0 Disagree0

Jordi Alba has a pre contract agreement with Barcelona. So it's most likely that he will join barca once they and Valencia agree a suitable fee :)

Ollie22 {Ed002's Note - There is no pre-contract agreement. There is interest in Alba from Barcelona and speculation about interest from both Manchester based clubs. Chelsea and AC Milan both made speculative enquiries about Alba before the January window. I would hazard a guess he could spend his near-term career in Spain - certainly he could well worry about the impact on his international prospects. Staying at Valencia another year is a perfectly possible outcome as is a deal to involve a Barcelona player going on loan as part of the package - perhaps Tello.}

Hes going to sign for barca

Chelsea observing Axel Witsel

Ramires is aware Chelsea are watching Benfica midfielder Axel Witsel.

He is not surprised that Witsel is on Chelsea's radar.

"It's known when a player stands out that Chelsea are eyeing him," said Ramires in the Portuguese media. "They're following Witsel and he's an excellent player.

"He's a player who can do very well in England."

Willian to Chelsea?

And the Blues boss has identified 22-year-old Shakhtar star as one of his next big-money targets.

Chelsea have been quietly keeping tabs on Willian since he helped the Ukranian side win the 2009 UEFA Cup.

And they are now set to step up their interest after watching him star during Shakhtar’s run to the Champions League quarter-finals.

Barca boss Pep Guardiola has also placed Willian at the top of his wishlist

why Fellaini we have the money to get Sneijder. Fellaini is at his best behind Jelavic and we have Mata who does that job plus if we get Fellaini we'll be tempted to play long ball

Ed do Chelsea have any interest in athletic Bilbao iker muniain ?
Thank in advance

Blue con {Ed002's Note - Muniain was touted around the clubs on behalf of Bilbao in January - and the two clubs in England that were approached were Chelsea and Manchester United. The asking price was 40M euros. They won't get it because I don't think clubs would risk half of that on a player who is young and has had some off field issues. If the price comes down to a reasonable level I can see interest from several English clubs including Manchester United and Liverpool. Roma interest is still there and rumours abound of Juventus and Malaga interest but perhaps an eventual move to Barcelona beckons.}
