This is just a case of 2 (Inter want Alonso or Emerson) + 2 (Chelsea want Martinez) = 5 (Chelsea to offer Emerson or Alonso in a swap deal that will give us a headstart in the race for Lautaro Martinez) .

Do clubs really do swap deals, it is always in the gossip columns and ed has said previous clubs would like to use one player to get another but can’t think of too many deals actually coming off involving a swap.

In fairness city included Danilo in their purchase of cancelo with Juve and valued him in the upper 20’s and I think we all agree he isn’t worth that much.
