Why was Roman at Cobham ED? Twice in a week? {Ed002's Note - Mr Abramovich is in the country has a little time on his hands and was no doubt likes to check out the restaurant at the training facilities. Nothing sinister at all.}

Thanks mate {Ed002's Note - Sorry - I have no idea what you are referring to.}

Sorry ed I'll make it clearer. Did any clubs make a bid for any Chelsea players? For example PSG made a bid for Malouda or arsenal made a bid for Kalou. {Ed002's Note - Not that I am aware. There was discussion about Kalou and options he will have in the summer.}

Lets not get carried away with Mourinho. Who said he want to come back? We are all carrying the " unfinished business" quote of his as some sort of promise to come back and lead us to glory again.

Wait till Mancini bottles the title in May and we might seee our favorite heading north, or staying at Madrid. But i doubt it if he ends the year with the Primera and/or CL.

Also, don't forget, that our club is not beng run in the way Mourinho wants it and i can't see it change it here. As Ed 002 has explained here we have a whole commitee to evaluate and negotiate a player coming or going, and also countless advisors. Jose is the manager of Real Madrid and director of football. How is that changing at Stamford? Probably not under this regime, i guess. So it is pointless us wishing or suggesting this outcome as i can't see this appealing to both parties. It is Roman's club and a coach is an employess of his and he likes it to be understood. Certain Mr. Mourinho has a different view, as we all know.

AVB should be given the time to build a squad capable of winning the prem/champs league, i want him to stay

Agree0 Disagree0

AVB is still working hard to untangle the mess he was left with. It would be stupid to fire him now. it seems chelsea are working more to a long term plan, hence the lack of purchases (only the right players) and providing continuity with a coach would be part of that. bottom line is alot of the players have been average and AVB hasnt had all that much to work with. a leaky defence, an uncreative midfield and a misfiring strike force.

the 2 latter were definately evident before AVB arrived.

Agree0 Disagree0

A long term quality proven manager, a leader, a personality is need for a long term plan in order to get long term benefits. We have a manager whom i believe does not fit the description. We will fire him if the play does not improve after this season or the next. We can continue to fool ourselves. Will look stupid in the end.

Borini is said to to have signed for Roma with a co-ownership deal. Does it mean chelsea own a portion of his rights and will they receive a percentage if he is sold to another club ? thnx in advance

Believable0 Unbelievable0

No, he signed on a free with Parma and then Parma sold him in a co-ownership deal to Roma almost immediately. But I believe Roma now own him outright.
