VVD looking more likely to leave after his transfer request. Would love him here just seems like he prefers Liverpool. Only hope is Southampton don't do business with Liverpool or we offer more.

If you read his full statement he seems very open to a move from a number of clubs. He dosnt name any one club significantly, so I think the rumours of Liverpool being the only club he would sign for are nonsense.
If Southampton don't slap a ridiculous price tag on him I could definitely see us making a bid for him.

Yeah i read it but the amount of people saying Liverpool was his preferred destination for ages it did seem that way. Even saw a lot of Chelsea fans suggest he isn't needed. He's a class Cb and will improve our team, he'll allow Azpi to be an option for either rwb/ lwb and maybe give Conte a option to play Luiz in that CDM role. A lot of positives for this move and hope we can pull it off.

Chelsea would be a sensible choice. Along with Arsenal perhaps. Citeh would be good financially but as a centre half citeh and Liverpool both leave you exposed.
