Surely we won't sell Luiz Ed? {Ed018's Note - the club does not want to sell but if the player wishes to move and an acceptable offer comes in there is not much you can do. Luiz has never given any indication he wants to move}

I recall watching a youtube clip where, in an interview, he was asked on his opinions toward a move to Barcelona (as they have had interest for a while back) and he than began to laugh, indicating, that I think he'll be staying. Which, would be fantastic news as I see him as our Captian within the near future.

I think Mourinho thinks differently.

He only signed a 5 year extension last year, I wouldn't sell him if I was Jose. let's face it if Luiz goes it will be like losing 2 center backs as I reckon Terry is finished as a 1st team player. Jose doesn't like Barca, Chelsea don't like Barca and ill be damned if they were to let him go for anything less than £40mil. don't rate any of their players as a part ex, Messi excluded because we just know that never in a million years would he even consider leaving them. I think he wants to move. He's never said it directly but he always talks about how much he admires them and how he likes to play football like they do.

Are Chelsea looking to accept the bid for Luiz as Mourinho likes a more solid centre back that stays in position?

Who said jose only likes defenders who are static? Carvalho, lucio, ramos etc. Are all defenders who like to play the ball out of defence. I don't remember José having problems with their style

I remember recently in tv that Mourinho praised Luiz for his ability to bring the ball out of defence and play, as well as his technical ability, I'd also presume Mourinho knows his great leadership qualitites and his versitaility within defence and midfield, therefore I'd doubt Mourinho would sell him.

Ed, anything new on khedira? Signing him or De Rossi, plus hopefully Rooney and we really will have a complete squad. {Ed018's Note - nothing new today that I've headed yet}
