I have 4 things to ask:
1)Leandro Damiao has put in another brilliant performance so Chelsea need look no further for their striker they so desperately want. Is there any interest in him?
2)When do we play our European Super Cup game against Atletico Madrid?
3)What is all this talk about Usain Bolt going on a trial for Man Utd? Is it just a joke or is it serious?
4)Finally, are Chelsea in the World Club Cup? If so who are we playing?
Thanks, RT {Ed018's Note - 1. not at the moment, 2. August 31st, 3. Ive got no idea, i believe it's Bolt who is trying to get a trial, not sure if United have spoke on the matter, 4. google }
2 and 4 for google mate. it's not hard
Questions 2 & 4. Unbelieveable. Some lazy sods out there. Or useless.

Hi ed what seems to be the hold up in the transfers of Moses and the rb who's name I can't spell why so long any news on the hulk deal {Ed018's Note - agreeing to the fee's. both look set to be complete soon. no news on Hulk}

Hi Ed. The potential signing of Wallace could come about as we swapped Deco for a percentage of three young Fluminense players; Wallace, Afonso and Pernao. This now appears to have been great foresight....could we do something similar with Malouda? Thanks Steve {Ed018's Note - it would sure be nice, but i believe Santos was put of by what Malouda"s wage demands were gonna be}
What does this mean mate? So if we were to give Malouda to Santos we would be able to take three of their players in the future? Or have I got it completely wrong?
I believe it means if Malouda was worth £2m and we wanted to co own one of the clubs players who was worth £8m for example we would be given 25% of his rights. In the future if we wanted the players full rights for him to be illegible to play in the EPL we would then have to buy the further 75% of his rights. The upside is if the club in question wanted to sell the player Chelsea would also have to agree to sell their 25% if the buying club wanted all his rights.
Does this mean that Malouda won't be joining due to his wage demands? Will he still likely leave Chelsea this window? {Ed018's Note - its possible he will leave, }

Ed, you mention replacing Ferreira below - do you expect him to move on this summer then? I've not heard any kind of link for him, perhaps back to Portugal for a swan-song or retire/coach? {Ed002's Note - Chelsea would not stand in the way of a move and there has been a little interest from clubs in England.}
He would make a good coach for us, but as a player he should retire now, cant see him being any better playing at mk dons
Paolo was average,solid, but not fab, let him drive buses

Whats the point of signing both Azpilcuetta and Wallace if we already have got Kane and Hutchinson ..one of those will be enough i believe {Ed002's Note - To replace Ferriera and Bosingwa.}
We arnt good at bringing players through, name me anyone apart from terry who have come through the youth system to be world class?
mikel sort of youth, had great expectations: average
same essien
di santo
philiskirk
the only good one springs to mind is sinclair, but is he world class?
roman has the money to buy world class players, forget bringing them through
Simple I would have thought
The club don't feel they are good enough
You underrate mikel. Fantastic defensive mid who was crucial to our success last year.
Exactly, they arnt good enough, do you think piazon, kakuta and bertrand will be world class in a few years? i dont think so, they will be playing for lesser clubs like blackburn, telford or liverpool
Chelsea have changed their ways about handling the youth a few years ago we targeted the older big name footballer,now we are looking to get more young energy into the team..Ibelieve Nathaniel Chaloba or Todd Kane will be the next long term Chelsea captain.
We bought Sinclair when he was like 14. I wouldn't call him 'one of ours'. With our resources we'll have the best people to fid talent - world class players aren't a regular occurrence in any youth set up. Let's see how this batch comes along, e.g. Ake, Chalobah, Piazon, Feruz, Kane etc.
LJ
The fact you said Essien in that category shows your knowledge, and the fact you call him average is the stupidest thing I've ever heard.
Same Essien?
Essien would have been in a world XI until his injury. He was the best ball winning midfielder in the world!

Chelsea need to buy a striker soon because lakaku just isn't good enough for me
I beg to differ , out of most of our players pre season he didnt do too bad . He,s just not ready , a season loan will do him the world of good, fingers crossed its to a premier league team ..
That's what he needs a loan to pl team
Just not ready for Chelsea first 11
Ooooh you are so demanding, lukaku is a strapping boy

Hi ed .. i have 3 questions.
1) The striker we are going to buy, is he going to play alongside Fernando Torres or are him and Torres going to take turns as the main man up front like it was Drogba and Torres last season?
2) Who is that striker most likely to be in your opinion
3)Will Oscar And Juan Mata be available for the Community Shield Match again Man City {Ed002's Note - (1) He will be a squad player; (20 You have to keep up with the posts. (3) No.}
1, take turns
2, damaio
3, no coz olympiks innit bruv

hi ed, hope your day is going well. chelsea has always said they were bringing in another striker. with the deal to bring in Moses nearly done. my question -: is this the back up striker chelsea wanted to bring in, and when we bring him in, is dat it, chelsea will not be bringing in no other strikers or wingers in during this summer transfer period. especially when we are loaning out romelu lakuku. {Ed002's Note - Moses will be a squad player. Chelsea still want to bring in a striker.}
Wish people would read post
Moses is seen has a replacement for Kalou not Drogba
To summise (poor Eds!).
Moses - potential signing to replace Kalou; Azpilicueta - potential signing to replace Bosingwa; Chelsea are still looking to bring in a striker (search for names previously discussed). There will be no other signings unless players leave which may influence Chelsea to go back to the market.

Marselle have agree 8 million pounds with chelsea and azplicueta will have his medical on friday and join up with squad nweek,he may even be at wembley on sunday,but 90 percent sure moses will be in the squad to face man city cos he will b a chelsea player as anytym from nw
OLA
Why would azpilicueta be at wembley on sunday
To watch his new team, if he passes his medical on Fri (if all of this is to be believed)
Why will he be in wembley sunday? He having a tour or something? Surley if he signs he will be in birmingham watching chelsea v city?
WASTED JOURNEY FOR HIM AS THE GAME IS AT VILLA PARK!
I thought the match would be played at Villa Park?
But we're playing in Villa Park on Sunday....??

Hi ed looks like we're going to sign Moses now there saying he's a forward do Chelsea see him as a forward or do u think there will be another striker signed and play Moses midfield {Ed002's Note - He is seen pretty much as taking Kalou's role.}
07 Aug 2012 10:16:14
Has the situation with Willian nosed dived or has it just been slow to go through? There were a lot of references in the media however there hasn't been much about anything materializing. Any updates?
No need for him now we have Oscar!
07 Aug 2012 07:39:06
Can anyone tell me the point of victor Moses signing! Has nufin to offer to the team at all. Waste of money and can be spent better! Also been reading on here bout Wallace can sumone tell me where does he play and is he any good. Thanks
Pinky {Ed002's Note - Wallace is a young right back.}
Moses would qualify as a homegrown player, so that is a consideration. He is a versatile player , which fits in with the current direction of the transfers and can play anywhere across the front. He is very fast and direct with a lot of potential to get better. If you saw Wigan towards the end of last season, Moses was outstanding. Just because he's not a household name don't rule him out just yet.
We would all love 20/30m players in
But the number of players needed makes it impossible
Chelsea not investing over a 5yr period put us in this position hence the input of young and cheap players with the exception of hazard and Oscar as far as cheap goes
Give Moses a chance good young squad player at that price
Moses had the most number of successful dribbles last year...its a need
He's better than sturridge
Better than Sturridge for me sums it up in one. A better descion maker, not a showboater, and for me far more explosive.
I am not sure it will be Moses in Sturridge out but if the sale of Sturridge were to fund Moses who will be on a smaller wage than Sturridge & maybe leave a small surplus then I would say good business.
Not only better than Sturridge but better than Kalou who he is in mind to replace
Typical of the Football Manager generation. Not heard of a player so he must be rubbish. Plays for Wigan so he must be rubbish. Some of the stuff that passes for opinion on here is quite frankly embarrassing.

Anyone contacted Boswinga for a new club yet? {Ed002's Note - Anzhi and Lille. Marseille may be interested.}
Boswinga? Are you Jamie Redknapp by any chance?
07 Aug 2012 01:04:59
Sources say Marseille have accepted a bid of €8.8 million (£7 million) for Cesar Azpilicueta
You heard anything of this Ed? {Ed018's Note - ive heard two seperate reports that are conflicting, yet it looks like the deal should be done soon}
