Looks like Gabigol could very much be happening his loan club have released a statement saying we are in talks with Inter over signing him. Very different from Pato or Falcao he's coming off a fantastic season. He's fast left footed and fiery I just hope he turns out to be a very shrewd signing. I don't think I could watch Michy or Giroud lead the line again. Neither are good enough for Chelsea anymore.

Would be a decent signing but think Ed said we're not interested so i'll take his word for it. We definitely need a new ST tho, Michy's a great character and Giroud has been a brilliant professional but both aren't good enough to push for Tammy's position. That was pretty evident today.

Well it's avenue Chelsea could exploit in that case. IMO it would be a win win situation if Inter take Giroud and if we get Gabigol in return by paying some nominal cash on top.
I'm a fan of Gabriel Barbosa and have followed him since he was a young player in Brazil. He definitely knows where the back of the net is, he is a serial goal scorer. Worth a chance in my opinion.

Hopefully we tell them a straight swap is the only option. Don't need to pay over the odds on a gamble.

If a deal can be done Giroud going and Gabigol coming then it’s not bad business, not saying his better than Giroud or offers more than Giroud but franks not using Giroud so best on all parts, just hope any deal doesn’t prevent us going for one of our main targets in summer,

I think the best way to look at this is Chelsea weren't interested, Inter suggested it (to possibly get Giroud) and Chelsea are now considering their options - of which Barbosa is one. Don't rule it out, but don't expect it to happen.

Alaba (the premier lb in the world) would also be more than a pleasant surprise too. Unlikely at best.
