Hi Eds

How much insight do you have regarding the non playing staff side of things? I. E decisions on managers etc.

You're going to drown in questions surrounding the manager situation, especially with all of the Jose reports in the press today (and around this time every year since he left) and of course we're all aware of the dislike towards Benitez. How much chance is there of Benitez's 'interim' period being cut short and do you know if it is infact Jose that heads the shortlist (if one exists) of Managers to take over?

Also, is there pressure on Emenalo after his advice on the last few managers? {Ed002's Note - I have explained the situation with Mourinho in the past and there remains every chance he will return. What people don't understand is that there are not updates to be had in respect of this every few hours.}

Ed just a quick question
If mourinho was let go by Madrid soon would Chelsea go in for him now, or wait to end of season and risk a bidding war with other clubs.
Or is it possible that we could agree a deal for next season until rafa leaves.
I know it is a hyperthetical question but not totally unbelievable.

I'm just living in hope that he will come back to be honest
Could you imagine the atmosphere first home game if he did lol {Ed002's Note - I really cannot answer that.}

Jose has been trying to get himself sacked the past 2 months from RM but they would have to pay him off if they sack him, like we did!, ED you said before Christmas one manager is going to RM and jose the other way is this still the case or who else is left to manage us because we are running out of options and managers {Ed002's Note - It remains a possibility that Benitez and Mourinho will exchange jobs.}

The other day you were asked about Chalobah and possibilities for using him next season. You said he is a kid which seemed to imply he isn't ready for considering. I checked and he is older than Luke Shaw and same age as Raheem Sterling and both of these are cutting it in the Premier league. Chelsea haven't given youth its chance in these last few years. If they had, somebody might have had the vision to give Sturridge his head and give him half a dozen successive games as a central striker - that he goes straight into this position at Liverpool and looks the part is hurting. We've got a nucleus of young players on which to build a really good team and a good squad. Give them space, give them a chance - if we've scouted well, some of them will take the chance and make it - don't give them the chance and we'll lose them too. {Ed002's Note - A 17 year old recently made his league debut for Chelsea, players are out on loan to get experience and your camparisons are not relevant to Chelsea at all.}

The comparisons are perfectlly valid to Chelsea ED. Guess we'll have have to beg to differ. All I want to feel is that the management at Chelsea has a philosophy of 'if he's good enough, play him, regardless of what he cost, how old he is, or who it might upset'! Since I have supported Chelsea since the days of Drakes Ducklings (remember Jimmy, Greaves, Peter Brabrook, Barry Bridges), maybe you can understand the point. {Ed002's Note - Well the policy of playing players because they are good enough does not fit with your comparitors - which seem to be entirely age related. If he's as old as a Liverpool player then play him seems to be what you are advocating.}

Sorry to confuse issues but where do you see him playing? Some suggest a deeper midfield but he seems to have played in a few roles?

Chelsea are spending millions on an academy, but are still going out and spending further millions on young foreign players like Azpi, Oscar, Hazard, and William. The home grown players get little opportunity to infiltrate the senior group, and little chance is given to youth in the likes of the Capital One cup. We need to blood some of the youngsters such as Ake, Saville, Baker and Feruz to show that we want to develop our youth, as the likes of Arsenal have been eager to do. Either that or what is the point of having an academy?

Arsenal and Liverpool give youth a try and what have they won oh yes. zero if there good enough they would be straight in the first team squad if not they will go out on loan to see if they improve if not they get sold

Although I agree that we are not effective at bringing through our youth team players, the position Chalobah plays is key to the success the team as he is usually employed in the spine of the line up. Both Shaw and Sterling play in the wings and mistake sin these areas are often less costly.

Try Manchester United example if you think playing youth does not win things. And players musn't exactly be developed at the academy, they may just be brought in at a very, shall I say tender age and groomed in:

Phil Jones, Rafael the Silva, David de Gea, Chris Smalling, Christiano Ronaldo, Nani, Tom Cleverley, Anderson, Chicarito, Welbeck, Rooney.

They've all started playing for the first team aged 18-21/22. Somehow it did not prevent them winning trophies.

One thing I know - our policy of having 22 on loan is a joke. We buy every kid in the world we can access and hope to hit jackpot if someone will be keen to develop them for us.
