I have been exchanging the odd email with someone who worked as part of the first team coaching/ sport science department.
One subject that came up was Anthony Barry the new Assistant Head Coach.
The general perception seems to be that he is a defensive coach but apparently he made his mark at Wigan doing one to one sessions with various players.
He is also credited with Wigan CB scoring more goals from set pieces.
Interestingly one player he is working with currently in Kurt.
