I've always thought he'd make a better back up striker than the other options (that's assuming that we still play a similar style) . Don't believe it for one second mind you.

I wouldn't mind benteke as long as Costa stays, but if he cannot get a game at Liverpool then why join Chelsea.

Benteke had 9 goals in 14 games.He didn't play because Klopp doesn't sees him as player for the team but for himself(pretty weird).
It doesn't matter is It Lukaku or Benteke both of them are excellent strikers.Personally I would give advantage to Lukaku since he is younger and home grown player.

Benteke isn't mobile enough in my opinion. He thrived at villa who would launch long balls at him and hope for the best. He's slightly more athletic than Andy Carroll but they're very similar for the most part.
