hey ed, how come barcelona are in the race to sign neymar sanchez and rossi aswell as fabregas if their stuggling to find money {Ed002's Note - They certainly won't sign everyone and are actively trying to unload a couple of players. They are looking also at payment plans and part ownership deals.}

I hope he would rather throw everything at Hulk. We sadly and badly need to mirror our left side, as too many times last season we were left wanting on the right, where attacking through ACole and Malouda was just one-dimensional. I hope we get van der Wiel and someone like Hulk to our right. Now that would be sensational.

Chelsea are looking unlikely to land long term target Neymar and winger Alexis Sanchez. Neymar seems Madrid bound because they may be the only club with prestige and money to cater a move and they seem to be willing to let the kid stay for another year just to play in the Club World Cup. That was the deal breaker with Chelsea. As for Sanchez, he and his agent may try to push through a move to Barcelona. If Chelsea don't get either player they should definitely make a serious push for Juan Mata for the left and he also come considerably cheaper than both Neymar and Sanchez and he looks ready for the big step up. Chelsea should try to broker a deal for Aguero as well. He's no doubt a top class versatile attacker just like Neymar but stronger and looks like a right fit for the Premier League. Opinions are welcomed.
I can understand the obsession with Neymar, but Sanchez and Pastore don't look like a sure bet to me at all. Therefor i
fully support theidea of Mata and i also am very fond of Bale for our left side. But for the right one i have a perfect player for our system and our league in Hulk. He should be our number 1 target. And if reportedly Porto are willing to do business at about 36 mil. That's still a steal.
A very likely scenario regarding Neymar and Sanchez.
I would be more disappointed to lose out on Sanchez than Neymar.
I would certainly support the signing of Aguerro who I have thought for a few years would fit well in the PL and Chelsea.

ED please remind everyone that we do not want Nasri nor do we need him. If he moves on it will be to MUFC. Every other post on here has Nasri in a lineup or asks if he is on the radar. If I am getting tired of reading it I can't imagine how you too editors feel.

seen quite a few reports linking us to theo walcott. i know it seems very unlikely, but if nasri, clichey and fabregas leave maybe theo will want to follow. any possibility of it, do you reckon?

This isn't a terrible shout in my opinion, we need wingers, and theo can play there, or through the middle as a center forward, plus, he is home grown, which if the rumors that vb wants a British center back are true, then vb looking towards walcott, another home grown player, don't seem ridiculous.
Also, if we do lose out on sanchez, walcott could be another option, as both are young pacy wingers in essence right?

Ed, Given the relegation of River Plate the other week would a move for Erik Lamela now become more likely/realistic or has he never been on the radar? {Ed002's Note - Lamela may leave River Plate this summer - likely destination is Italy with strong interest from Juventus, Lazio, Roma, Napoli and Palermo. Atletico Madrid may be an option with Aguero likely moving on. A move for Lamela to England is almost certainly out due to some very shady ownership issues.}

Well most of us don't want nasri & modric, there not good enough for our side.
The bids chelsea have put in, neymar, sanchez, pastore, are much better than those two numpty's.
Make you completely right we don't want nasri & modric, there both overated, but only by stupid gooners & spuds.
Would hate to see Nasri at Chelsea, wouldnt say no to Modric though, always puts 100% in and has an eye for a pass, but as the others have said, would much rather see Pastore, Neymar etc etc than either.
Hell no Nasrri doesnt compare to Lam[ard Chelsea need younger talent that can play for many years Modric to replace mikel I like now

ed, when do the players return from vacation and are all back together, and also when does the transfer window close? {Ed002's Note - Most return this week. Some are still away after tournaments (Sturridge for example) and two are at the Copa America. I suspect most will show up whether they are due or not. Both CFC and Lukaku have mutual interest, therefor we are doing some hrd bargaining, like barca and fabregas. It is logical. I wholehartedly believe we will get all 3 of our targets from Belgium.
