I would prefer Kalou without doubt both for attitude and effectiveness(goals) when he gets the playing time of course.

ED002 is it true Real Madrid may offer Higuan plus some money to land Kun Aguero? {Ed002's Note - No such offer has been made but they do have an interest in Aguero. Just speculation right now.}

Just wanted to know what everyone's thoughts are about replacing Ashley cole in a couple of years... Agree is you want to see Bertrand or van anholt take over and disagree if you would like to see a signing like Jordi alba or Aly sissoko come..?

A couple of weeks dont you mean?

I said we should have bought Alba this January and played him as our LW, he is lightening fast, is a very good attacker but also would provide defensive cover down that left side. He would be my 1st choice, i would like to see Bertrand get a chance though.

We have already sold Aanholt i can't remember who too tho. {Ed002's Note - He is on loan at Vitesse.}

Following his performances this season, it makes sense that AVB was looking to sign either Perreira or Coentrao. Cole's days are numbered IMO and we should cash in on him over the summer.

Quite a few players days are numbered actually, whether they are moved on or not is another issue.

When van anholt has played for us he has looked quite gd and dangerous going forward but he's never really performed when out on loan so it's a tough one. Bertrand looks ok but only ok, hasn't offered much going forward and does look solid on defence. Out of the two I'd keep van anholt.

I still rate cole and he always plays when carrying knocks and I think thats the reason he hasn't been at his best but he's still up there as one of the most consistent players around so I'd keep him for another season but I do agree that we do need to sign another left back if we don't think Bertrand or van anholt are up to the job.

Patrick van a holt ain't gunna be good enough he's been poor in championship. And Bertrand to start rotating from next season {Ed002's Note - Vitesse are not in the Championship, but to be fair he is not having a great season.}

Bertrand is far better than Van Aanholt! No comparison! I'd sell Van Aanholt at the end of the season, of you can't break into the Wigan side when on loan, you're doing something wrong (no disrespect to Wigan, as I really rate Roberto Martinez!)

hey ed,

i have been reading a lot recently about stephan jovetic. it really sounds like he is becoming chelsea's top target and most likely. do you see this as a strong possibility?
