Apparently. Francois Piraux hinted as much. He also said Batshuayi is close to going to Monaco on loan. I hope we don't loan him, but if we do there really shouldn't be an option to buy in there.

Without putting words into your mouth, Ed: seeing a large number of first team players on that list has me thinking that at least 3 or 4 outfield first team players will be brought in. Is this true?

Losing both Zouma and Christensen would be really incredibly stupid in my opinion. Both are some of the best young CBs in the world right now, and they're on our books. If we'd try to buy similar talents from other clubs they'd charge us at least 40 million or something for them.
Hopefully RLC gets a good loan where he'll actually be able to consistently play. And maybe Musonda to get a chance as part of the first team? Here's to hoping.

Hi Ed, I notice you put Costa and Fabregas without any notes - does that mean they're pretty much certain to be going? I knew Cesc was likely but Costa's recent comments seem to suggest he'd only leave to Atletico - is that your expectation?

possible loan, maybe etc. doesn't mean that any of mentioned players will leave. Personally I don't expect many players to leave especially players who where starters this season.

From their body language and their interviews I don't think either one of Fabregas or Costa will leave Chelsea.

With Costa looking likely to leave to Atletico, would Chelsea use Costa in any way to get leverage in a deal for Griezman? Or are Chelsea looking elsewhere for striker options?

Atletico's ban hasn't been lifted for this summer. So they can't register players until January. I doubt they're signing Costa now.
