Have no idea if there is any substance to the drinkwater rumour but to be fair he's a hard working midfielder. Forced his way into the England squad. Would be a decent squad player IMO.

Struggled with injuries last season, but was great for Leicester in their title campaign. I don't believe the stories but he'd be a decent enough signing, does everything very well but nothing outstanding.

This strikes me of trying to hit the homegrown quota for your squad - surely no other reason for Chelsea to be in for Drinkwater.
With Chalobah, RLC, Terry and Begovic all homegrown players sold you must be short of the reaching the quota for your squad?
So expect many links to the likes of Drinkwater, AOC and Barkley I think.

People losing their heads mate. It's pretty obvious that we haven't stopped in the transfer market. Yet all because he media know probably as much as we do, people are going crazy and expecting the club to sign every player going. The media have no idea what's going on and linking us with some absolute trifle all because we do our business behind closed doors.

Sanches needs game time, he won't be first choice if he comes to Chelsea. I doubt he'll come.
Ed002 had said that he's been a total flop at Bayern. He was very good against us, but it was a preseason and I think hard to judge on.
He he came I'd be fairly happy, but I'm definitely not losing sleep over it.
We have had clear targets and a plan throughout the summer, have some faith (and some chill)

Ryan mate. We're talking about Drinkwater here, not Sanches. Others may have mentioned Sanches but not me (on this conversation anyway! ) . I don't see either of them coming. Drinks probably been plucked from a hat. And Sanches was offered to us, as ed002 has already stated.
