Di Marizio has said that Chelsea and Courtois have stopped negotiating over contract and looking to sell ASAP or risk losing on Bosman in 2019, Allison Becker our number one target, and Sarri can buy out contract for £1.5m which Chelsea will cover but my guess that'll make any future dealings with Napoli already hard even harder.

How reliable is it that Sarri can buy out from his contract for 1.5m.

Well that's what Napoli are paying sarri pa I think. Assuming they don't agree to release him then they will have to continue to pay him 1.5 m a year in addition to Carlos wage. Off course if this is true the why didn't Napoli accept our offer (if it's true off course) . Either we have not offered £4 m to release sarri and waiting to cover the 1.5 m or the 1.5 m release buyout is not correct and sarri will have to stay another year with Napoli paying his wage,
No logic in Napoli not accepting our offer If there is a 1.5 m release figure. So we obviously don't know the true situation.

Read post by TOMB, think from today it’s negotiable?

I really don't know about this 1.5m buyout. It's hard to say what his contract stipulates, however it is a disgrace of Napoli to charge a release fee of 8m for a manager that has been replaced and has zero responsibilities.

In the other hand Chelsea need a manager asap, I heard they had a discussion in Milan yesterday with Sarri and his reps so I am assuming this will continue today. Hopefully there is some sort of agreement. Either Sarri threatens to resigns And Napoli lowers fee or Chelsea pay the 8m. After today, it will Be virtually ridiculous to get Sarri as Napoli will want more.

Don’t wait and just pay the release clause. Cost to Chelsea: €8m. Simple, clean-ish, most expensive. Deal gets done promptly, enabling the club to move forward with the rest of the summer’s plans.

Don’t wait, but negotiate a lower release clause. ADL may be playing hardball, but he surely doesn’t want to be stuck paying two head coaches for too long. Some reports in Italy claim that an agreement could possibly be found at €4m. Cost to Chelsea just €4m, and the deal still gets done promptly. (A previous version of this rumor included throwing in David Luiz instead of cash as the transfer fee. )
Wait and see what happens, to see what the next move is in this “complicated chess game”.

The release clause expires May 31. At that point, Sarri can resign, and leave ADL with nothing. It’s unclear if Sarri himself (or Chelsea, by proxy) would have to pay a penalty or simply just forgo any compensation (which, if he takes another job, would be academic anyway) . It’s also unclear if Sarri can even “just resign”, as previous reports made it clear the Napoli would have to “accept” the resignation. Sarri could certainly walk off the job, but it’s doubtful that the regulatory powers that be would look upon that too kindly. Getting rung up for a breach of contract is not a good way to start a new life in England. None of that may be a valid way to do business, either, but who has time to challenge such things? Either way, Chelsea’s summer plans would be significantly delayed, and time’s already ticking away. Plus, you never know what sort of Jedi mind tricks De Laurentiis will think of in the meantime. Are the few millions saved really that important? Is the precedent it might set that dangerous? ADL certainly appears to be making his play for these free bonus stacks of cash.

"I think the Blanc thing is just a safety net. Club spoke to him over two weeks ago, yet still went on and agreed terms with Sarri. I could be wrong of course but I still believe they will get him.

And what is worth remembering is Sarri and Chelsea have agreed terms - meaning they would have discussed transfer targets. So as much as I share your frustrations here, Sarri's targets will already be known. Just bringing some balance to the situation. "
