Ed, I thought that we had released Hilario, but he is listed as flying out with the squad to America. {Ed018's Note - I thought he was released as well}
Hilario has signed a one year extension while the younger ones come through to be number 3 behind Courtois and Cech. It is said that Hilario wanted much lower wages than Turnball, they don't yet fully trust Blackman or Walker and Delac needs a work permit.
Waste of a place to have four keepers.
I am pretty sure that Blackman won't take a squad place he is not yet 21.
Where does that leave Schwarzer?
I thought the keepers were:
Cech
Schwarzer
Turnbull
With Courtois on loan at A Madrid for another season before coming back for season 2014-2015 and Schwarzer retiring afte Australia w {Ed029's Note - Turnbull has left.}
. with Schwarzer retiring from football after Australia compete in World Cup in brazil. That would then leave Courtois, Cech and Turnbull. Damn safe hands for the foreseeable future. Bloody iPhone cut my last message short
The reason Halario was offered an extension was because we failed to land Ruddy from Norwich.
Hopefully we sign Sami Khedira and if Torres goes then Roondog!

Just shows how closely some of our so called supporters follow their club if after a month they still haven't cottoned on to the fact that Turnbull has left the club.

I follow the club home, away, on TV, on the net etc etc and yes I was aware that Turnball had gone but other than a rumour on a blog that Hilario might be given another year I wasn't aware that he was still at the club.
