ed001 any news on potential last day signing?


it seems like Ox wants Liverpool now.
but i wonder why chelsea would bid if they didn't think he wouldn't sign . surely if at all possible they would have discussed it with his agent?

players we should be signing - Sandro, Aurier, Sanches and Belloti. Who we're going to end up with - Rafinha, Drinkwater and Llorente. pathetic.

Aurier is too much trouble hence why PSG want rid. Belotti is so far only really top quality for one season, not worth 100m euros. Sandro has been dealt with at length, Juventus screwed us around a lot and we should remember that for the future. We wanted a loan to buy with Sanches, Bayern wanted a loan with a guarantee of over 40 appearances.

As long as we get a couple of bodies in the only disappointment for me is the players we have let go. I think RLC and Chalobah could have got a lot more game time this season, enough for them to develop and grow with us substantially whilst helping with HG quotas. Hopefully RLC becomes a Thibaut and not a Lukaku!

I think Belotti is pure, natural, rugged and a quality striker (with quick feet, pace, aerial ability) He has started scoring again this season. He is imo a better goal scorer than Morata. I envy the club that will eventually sign him.
If Mbappe is worth £140mً then Belotti is a bargain for £86m.
I GIVE ANYTHING TO SEE THE KID PLAY FOR CHELSEA.

Chelsea have made a £25million bid for Everton midfielder Ross Barkley despite the England international being out injured until December, reports the Daily Mail.

The paper also says the Premier League champions are offering £35m for Leicester midfielder Danny Drinkwater and £15m for Swansea striker Fernando Llorente.

if kante gets injured i don't think bakayoko has the discipline yet to play along side fabregas in a 2 as he is still young, drinkwater is perfect for us, also in the big games when we want someone to sit infront of the back 3 instead of being dragged out of position looking to win the ball back like Kante does sometimes he will be invaluable. Remember how bad giacherinni was at sunderland then in the euros under conte he was different class.

Hes not going to play much CM at Liverpool is he? I think Coutinho is going so I don't see where he fits in the midfield there?
He certainly will not play CM here. Is this news true eds or is there a chance that report is bs? Its being reported by a few credible sources.

If he is scared of competiting with Bakayoko, Kante, Fabregas and Drinkwater, not sure why he thinks he'll fair better with Wijnaldum, Henderson, Can to be honest. Smacks of the Arsenal mentality, demands a lot for little to no work.

Liverpool have already signed a midfield player who will start next season and an approach for another rejected.
I'm not sure how his supposed positional preferences will be more likely at Anfield.
It's just another example of how difficult it is sometimes to get transfers over the line!

The whole situation with Ox is strange. Wants to leave the team with the weakest central midfield in the top 6, for another top 6 team, so that he can play central midfield.

Fair play to him, he knows what he wants, and he's going for that, but I can't see it working out for him. If this mornings stories are true it's definitely one of those spilt milk situations for Chelsea though.

he'd surely get a chance to rotate. with kanta baka an fabregas in the middle and possobly right wing every now an den. picking liverpool over chelsea ia dumb. he won't get in over can an henderson or man an salah out wide so surprised he picked this liverpool move if it happens. he probably wouldn't be ahead of lalana either in the pecking order 😂.

He hasn't come out to declare anything publicly but I guess players don't declare such things publicly.

Chelsea obviously has better players compared to Arsenal, so I guess the Ox wants first team assurances- to play in a midfield position rather than wingback. I don't even see Liverpool playing him in his desired midfield position. He is wired for wingback position.
