Chelsea to make an improved offer of £20mill for Schurrle if successful will look to offload sturridge on a loan deal to either Liverpool or spurs.

Even tho they aint interested in selling at any price ,no striker then!

Sturridge on has a year left on his contract. There's no way he'll go out on loan.

Improved ? i swear our original bid was more than 20 mill lol

Various rumours stating Pato will be part of a bidding war between Chelsea and Real Madrid tommorow. What do people think of this? Would Pato be a great signing for us?

I think Pato may be worth getting but on a free next year seeing as he hasnt penned a new contract yet, not worth getting into a bidding war seeing as he's more fragile than robben

Ed, do you think it is at all possible to sign Falcao or Hulk? I highly rate both these guys and would love to see one of them at Chelsea. I'd just like to ask if we would make a last gasp effort, maybe on deadline day, to sign one. Falcao would be the best option because I could see him coming on as a sub or start when Torres is being rested and scoring a few goals. But Hulk would be just as good. Thanks

I would assume he mean Falcao, despite RDM saying there is no interest, we'll know more when the team sheet comes in, if Falcao is missing surely that means hes moving to another club

Like i said yesterday, Loic Remy will sign for Chelsea before the deadline. Spurs were interested but they have been told the player only wants Chelsea. Not clear on figures but ive been told Kakuta will be included (either permanetly or loan). Medical will be done tomorrow in France, Remy has been carrying a slight niggling injury in recent weeks, but everybody close to the deal dont anticipate any problems
Im 100% certain on this deal, ill leave my name and email address and if the deal doesnt happen i want the Ed's to ban me permanantly from this site

I don't know if the information about Loic Remy is true or not, but if it is how about another striker as well, we'd then have 4 main strikers available, and like the two Manchester clubs we'd also have strength in depth up front also. As it's patently clear we need to have 3 or 4 strikers at the club, not just the 2 we have at the moment.

Just with Moses in I cannot see Sturridge getting a look in anyway and Piazon proved a clever option up front in pre season {Ed018's Note - No}

Sturridge is better than Moses and Piazon as a centre-forward

heard a rumour that chelsea are fighting tottenham for the signature of loic remy so thought id ask the eds if they know anything of this?

IMO a very good option, has a proven goal scoring record, and can play wide right if needed, so will be able to play with Torres as well as back up to him.
Plus he has played in the champs league so has that experience.
