I hope the rumours that we are penny-pinching over Sancho are not true. He is an incredible talent and no surprise Dortmund want a huge fee. Just pay what is being asked for and sort the deal out.

Totally agree he’s a potentially world class playmaking winger already providing over 10 goals and assists each season. Sancho is the only other youngster I’d like to see us buy because after him we’ve got enough young talent we then need experienced quality players. For me like I’ve said before an experienced fast left back in Alex Telles I don’t rate Chilwell. I’d also like to see us go for Bruno Fernandes. A hardworking complete midfielder who can score and shoot from long range. We have been linked with Dani Olmo today I don’t think he’s much different from Mason Mount.

If the 100m reports are true and palace apparently want 70m for Zaha then it’s a no brainier. Sancho is ripping it up in the bundesliga similar to the way de Bruyne did and look at the regrets there. I can’t help but feel Dortmund wouldn’t of splashed money on haaland without knowing there was money coming in. Sometimes deals are all behind the scenes so for example Dortmund are not being held to ransom if they have a huge fee for Sancho and are looking for players to spend that money on.
There is a lot of experienced players also only having 6 months on their contract and that’s something we should be looking at. We have a lot of good young players who need the leadership and experience of pros that have played at the highest level. Cavani/ Modric for example.

€40m offer for dembele rejected but Lyon, club not named, some saying Chelsea others saying has interest from a few teams. Apparently Lyon won't sell because depay injury,

Not sure what you can make of these stories other than the fact they are rumours. We've been linked with a lot of players. Another name linked is Gabigol - Barbosa.

One transfer that has emerged which I see growing legs is Michy going to Aston Villa on loan should we buy a striker.

We will help that by giving Giroud to Lyon as part of the deal. Lyon want Giroud anyway. I bet Dembele will come here.

CFCShak - Apparently Chelsea and West Ham are interested in Gabigol. I haven't seen much of him, but his stats this season are phenomenal, 25 goals and 8 assists in 29 games for Flamengo.

if memory serves we were interested in Gabigol (pretty sure that's a type of cured meat in America) but anyway I digress . before he went to Inter. didn't he flop there also?

TruBlu prior to Inter signing him he was immense in Brazil. His first attempt in Europe failed for one reason or another.

However, since he has gone back to Brazil he has found his rhythm again and looks pretty good again. Obviously, it's a risk and a massive one and maybe one we should not take right now.

Ed1 what are your thoughts on Gabigol?

{Ed001's Note - not impressed, he looked a very poor striker in the CWC against Liverpool. From what I saw he just doesn't look good enough for European football.}

Thoughts on Dembele Ed? I actually think he’s a really good player he has pace strength and good hold up play. Twice the player Michy is.

{Ed001's Note - yes, he is in need of reminding that he is still an unfinished product. To be fair there are not many young players at his level that aren't. They do tend to get a bit big for their boots as everything is given to them on a plate.}
