Costa to replace Suarez (Madrid bound). Bale and Suarez to replace Ronaldo (United bound). Rooney (Chelsea bound) surplus to requirements with Ronaldo at United Thinking out loud but seems quite plausible. Overall I think I would take that

Yeah probably the case. I have no inside info or anything but I just think surely United must have something up there sleeves. If Real get Bale and Suarez I think it could happen. Ideally they get Cesc and we get Rooney, Cesc doesn't really frighten me!

Yeah i'd definitely take that. Say if United got Ronaldo and lost Rooney, they would be swapping a good player for a great player. If we got Rooney we would be gaining a good player with no loss. So the relative gains would be about equal. Cesc, where does he fit in our team with what we already have? Bale not an option, Suarez misses first 6 games and got baggage and previous. So short of us signing Ronaldo that would be a good scenario no name. Rooney would score 30 goals a season in our team without question, what's to not be happy about
