If you are watching the Porto game and assuming he is playing - keep an eye on Neves who Chelsea have a very, very strong interest in.

Cheers Ed what type of player is he?

Don't know much about him. He's 18 years old and is considered one of the biggest Portuguese talents around. He's a central midfielder.

On that performance- sign him up! Do the deal now the game has ended! Also get the price of Brahimi and Imbula, all 3 would greatly improve our squad.

He looked decent to be fair! Portos midfield is very good, him Imbula and Danilo are an effective trio.

Imbula came alive the last 25 minutes or so. Showed some very good play. Brahimi as expected roasted Ivanovic a couple of times but I wouldn't bother getting him. Willian showed what he's capable of and should've had an assist on top of that good goal if Pedro could've tapped in Willian's cross (but he didn't even seem to try, it was weird).
Neves looked really good, especially when compared to Fabregas who again disappointed me. I'm glad Mourinho had the guts to drop Matic and maybe even Hazard, but surely Fabregas should be dropped for a game as well. I hope on Saturday Mourinho roles out a midfield of Mikel-RLC with Oscar as the creative player in there. Mikel has looked the part the last few games and we looked solid tonight with him in there, at least more solid than without him.

Jackson: Not a bad assessment of the game although we probably expected at least one player to roast Ivanovic and it happened to be Brahimi. I personally thought we made Porto look better than they are by giving them so much space and time on the ball; for some reason our passing is all over the shop but our thought process has stalled. For a central midfielder Mikel's sideways passing let's him down and like you I think Fabregas has been lucky not to be dropped before and to me it is Matic trying to cover someone he has lost confidence in which has skewered his game. I would play Loftus-Cheek, Matic and Oscar. Still baffled about the Rahman situation for £20m+.
