Vert impressed with Romeu, id start him now fullstop, Bertrand looks ready aswel, i always thought Van aaholt* was the better left back not so sure now, Jurys still out on Lukaku for me, he seems heskey-esque, hopefully he'l go out on loan where ha can develop, would like see a home grown attacking mid/striker in place of malouda, couple of lads in reserve team that would offer more, overall happy tho some cracking kids coming through

Alright Ed,

I know Chelsea arent interested in him, but i would like to ask the question, which teams are interested in Kaka. I didnt know where else to ask the question?

Cheers Mate

PR! {Ed002's Note - PSG have expressed an interest but it is more a case of Kaka being offered up by Real Madrid. I under stand two options were offered to Chelsea, one involving a Chelsea player. At that time, Chelsea had no interest.}

I heard that rumour a couple weeks ago, Madrid offered us Kaka in exchange for Lampard however Madrid wanted money as well, which is why it never went anywhere. Ed do u think the whole Kaka going to CFC is totally dead or is there a small chance {Ed002's Note - The story about Lampard is incorrect. As I said, there is no interest at present and they will not be if any significant amount of money is involved.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks for clearing that up ed thought it was a bit far fetched, any chance you can tell us who the possible exchange player was? {Ed002's Note - Not right now I am afraid.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Its Ashley Cole

Afternoon Ed, has there been any further discussions inside Chelsea regarding a bid for Higuain? Are we defo going to make a bid?

Thanks in advance {Ed002's Note - As we stand right now Chelsea intend to discuss the matter with Real Madrid.}

Cool thanks ed, will just have to wait till January then

Mentioned the other day about right backs and completley forgot about sam hutchkinson, anyone shed any light on how he's doing, he could step straight in from what ive seen, cheers

ZOLA {Ed002's Note - He has been doing some training with the reserve team but do not expect any immediate miracles. Another look is being taken at Azpilicueta on Friday - if he plays.}

Hutchinson has played 7 of the 10 reserve games this season and played quite well in the games I have watched.
Great to see the lad playing again but whether the club would rely on his physical condition remaining stable, is very doubtful I think.

Agree0 Disagree0

Azpilicueta would be a solid buy if we were to get him.

Kelvin De bruyne is a really good bargain for january.just watched is clips, fantastic player, good dribbling skills,good passing ability with both feet, good freekick taker and very fast which solves our problem in midfield. chelsea should quickly take him with both hands. what do you think ed {Ed002's Note - De Bruyne will probably arrive in January but he is not a bargain at all. That was one of the reasons why he did not arrive in the summer. This was discussed yesterday or the day before.

ED02 Several reports claim Drogba will not agree to a new contract is this true? {Ed002's Note - Of course and this is not a new story. As has been explained Drogba has been offered a one year deal by Chelsea. This is unacceptable to the player who wants a two year deal which the club are not prepared to offer.}

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Will he leave in January or The Summer ED? {Ed002's Note - It depends what offers he has.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Cracking news that, hes bone idol

Ed then will we sell in january and y r we playing him if hes going {Ed002's Note - He will leave when he finds a suitable deal. He is under no pressure from Chelsea. He is being played because he is a Chelsea player and therefore available to the manager.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Why is this not the same case for Alex? For the time being he remains a Chelsea player, and he can do a better job than Luiz at CB

Ed002: the problems we are facing in the meantime is mostly based on the imbalance of our squad. The best carrer results most often are achieved in one's best physical years of 25-29. Right now we are loaded with both over and under that. Only Torres, Meireles and Essien fill that bill, but one's out of form and squad, the other can't carry this team, whilevthe last is chronicaly injured.

When i see us interested in deBruyne, Reus and the best of Europes young talent I applaud it. But don't we have a persistent habit of a need to win? The kids win't takes where we want to be in sjort term. In a 3-4 years sure they may. But to achieve the biggest results we need best players playing to top of their abilities.

We buy young guns and don't play them, while our heralded legents can't keep on carrying us through tjin week in and out.

Seriously i hoped we could sign Modric or Sneijder, i am aware of the obstacles, but the way to go is definitely this. We need at least a couple of experienced internationals for this squad, someone playing good and in the right age. For midfield i would hope we try again for Modric or Hamsik. For front i hope we are interested in Hulk. And Cahill or Godin or both for defence. {Ed002's Note - I think I should make the point that the investment in younger players is being made for the longer term and in most cases they are simply not in a position to drop straight in to the team and play every week. They are getting their chances, such as Romeu at the weekend, and some will have the opportunity to go out on loan to gain experience. Much of Chelsea's success has been built around having a consistant core to the team over a number of years (Cech, Terry, Lampard, Cole, Ferreira, Drogba etc.) and the club would like to do that again. Hopefully in doing so the balance will be restored. Interest in de Bruyne and the like is fine, but Chelsea do not want to be held to ransom and his price more than doubled in the alst week of the summer transfer window. The club continue to look at players regularly and efforts continue to be made to bring the right players in, but January is not naturally a good time for transfers.}

hi ed, will chelsea be making a bid for milos krasic in january ? {Ed002's Note - Juventus will be open to good offers for Krasic at some point but it is unclear if the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City, Malaga and Roma are still interested in a player who has not taken well to sitting on the sidelines. The player has decalred his interest in Manchester United and it is not out of the question that they may be interested in Krasic. Juventus may value the player out of the winter window though. There is at least one person at Chelsea who very much likes the player and may wish to revisit earlier interest.}
