ed. Is it right the African Cup starts on 21/1/12. What dates have the respective countries called Chelsea's players up from. Also I know the story has been doing the rounds with Anelka already away to China but they are still surfacing re Drogba going to. Is there anything in this or just old story surfacing again {Ed002's Note - You can look up the dates without checking with me. Generally players are expected two weeks prior. There is plenty of interest in Drogba but he still wants to stay at Chelsea.}

Hearing that we are getting Cahill for £7Million + McEachran on loan for the remainder of the season. Also do you know of the situation with Kakuta and what we are going to do pending his return from Bolton on loan at the end of the season? He hasn't impressed at all so I don't know that we will keep him or that Bolton will want him?! {Ed002's Note - You really have to read the other posts. McEachran will move on loan to Swansea (or perhaps Aston Villa or Fulham). Kakuta is moving to Dijon on loan.}

Apparently Cavani's agent is "pleased" at transfer rumours linking the Napoli man to Chelsea according to a phone interview on Itallian radio.
Does this mean that a move is on the cards or are the press reading too much into this and he is just pleased of the attention?
Basically I am asking of any possible move for Cavani? {Ed002's Note - Manchester City, Real Madrid and Chelsea maintain an interest in Cavani. As has been explained Real Madrid wish to fund a bid through selling Higuain to Chelsea and having Chelsea step back from bidding. Cavani has an initial preference for Madrid rather than London and no interest in moving to Manchester. Probably something that will get more publicity in the summer.}

Fernando Torres is expected to depart Chelsea in January amid reports in Spain and Italy, Higuain expected to replace him with gary cahill deal imminent. Expect a few departures and a massive summer clear out.
I expect torres to leave to, he needs to go back to Spain. Higuain will be a star @ the Bridge. CFC4EVA
That would mean that mean that during January and some of febuary in champions league we wouldn't have Amy strikers. No drogba kalou Anelka torres and higuian would be cup tied. If Torres does leave which I hope he don't then it will be in summer {Ed002's Note - There should be little impact on the Champions League and Sturridge, Torres and Lukaku remain.}

There are loads of people linking Paolo Ferreira with a move away from the club; I wouldn't be shocked if he became involved in coaching at Chelsea...he is clearly very highly thought of by players and staff.

ed if chelsea have any interest in cavani or higuain , wouldnt they be both cup tied in the champions league, if so wouldnt it be pointless buying them in january because the campions league is the only trophy chelsea have a chance winning this season ? {Ed002's Note - Neither would play in the Champions League and there is no saying either would arrive in January either.}
Why would it be pointless joining in January? Any signing could still contribute to the league or FA Cup campaigns.,
We well can see that were not going to win the title and the champions league is our only major trophy were in
We need to perform in the league to qualify for the CL next season.....not sure why you are disregarding that important issue!
