If Alex is sold that leaves u with 3 centre backs plus Romeu if in need i think we should go for scott dann cheap and very decent

Chelsea FC are seriously considering a move for Napoli’s Marek Hamsik in light of the fact that Tottenham Hotspur will not allow Luka Modric to leave.
Tottenham’s Harry Redknapp had suggested that “someone” was trying to play with Modric’s mind so that the White Hart Lane side would then look to give up and allow the Croatian to move on however with only three days of the transfer window remaining, chairman Daniel Levy is standing strong on any movement.
Chelsea are in need of a playmaker and reports suggest they are willing to pay up to £40m in order to get the right player. Whilst Moutinho and Ganso have also been mentioned in the past, a deal for either of the two looks unlikely this summer however the West London club have now made enquiries into Hamsik who, on paper, would fit the bill perfectly.
Whilst Napoli’s stance is that they do not wish to sell, they are certainly to be tempted by offers around £35m plus, and a move for Hamsik this summer currently looks more likely than one last effort to land Luka Modric.

What do you think to this story ED would we be interested a superb player IMO ?

ED's: If Alex leaves for Juventus or Arsenal do you epect us to sign a replacement Centre Half?

If so, do you think we will sign Gary Cahill or Scott Dann - either would strengthen the defence and both are English

Or do you think Oriol Romeu could be used as 4th Centre Half?

Keep up the great work {Ed018's Note - Romeu could be used there but Cahill could be a possiblity}

Ed, report has it that arsenal are keen on benayoun, don't u think selling him to our title rivals would only make him stronger, moreover, i see no reason in selling one of the few creative players we've gat in the club. your thoughts on this Ed and the probabilty of the deal going through {Ed018's Note - its apparent that he will move on and from my understanding earlier this morning there were more than a few teams interested. i wont be to bothered if he ended up at arsenal.}

De bruyne is set to join soon

Arsenal want alex, weather he will leave is undicided (i hope he dont)

Hazard is just talk

Kalou is wanted by lille

Avb wants to keep malouda and his future is more than likely with chelsea

Finally, Modric WANTS to join chelsea however daniel levy and redknapp wants to keep him so modric with have to push to get out an chelsea guarentted will spend over the odds for him

Very much appreciated. how come your answers are more conclusive than ed 002. {Ed018's Note - Ed002 is very informative on here, you have to understand that he does the majority of the work on the Chelsea site and helps on many of the other sites and doesn't have the time to be repeating himself all the time.}

Benayoun, Kalou and 8-10 million to secure Hazard as RW. Shock 27 million bid for Ribery and deal being prepared, (30 million and Malouda) for Sneijder. If Hazard and Sneijder (Or maybe Ribery) come, this will have been a very productive Transfer Window.

Any truth in kalou plus cash for hazard as reports in France are saying he was at the Lille game over the weekend.

He's said he's staying at Arsenal, speculation over stop asking.

I really want this deal to be happen...if it happen then it would solve our both problem that we will free up a striker which we already have the best in business...and again we have the right winger that we need.Cheers for Chelsea

hey ed i was looking at some stuff on this page and VDW has agreed terms with chelsea and reports in holland are saying a fee of 32 million euros has been agreed and also loads of stuff on twitter and everywhere is saying that chelsea have agreed a fee with totenham for luka modric after apparently he has quit totenham and has been seen clearing out his locker any truth {Ed002's Note - Sorry, I know nothing about it.}

Look, from what i have gathered it is just paper talk. All of it was made out of vdw teeet about his flight to London, then one wrote, the other quoted and thats the end of it for now. He is our target still, though.

Can I ask why exactly? Tevez is an awesome talent, and the type of player we lack. He creates, scores goals and can run at defences with pace and tremendous skill. He has the ability to changing a game at the drop of a hat. Dont see any reason why you would'nt want him, please explain? {Ed018's Note - i really don't know. he is a great player, i just teams are afraid to spend alot of money on him for him to turn around and to want to go home 2 months later}
