Ed002 has said Chelsea have spoken to LOSC today, and that he expects another interested party to make contact tomorrow. The reason it has not been announced by the club is because he is not a Chelsea player yet. He can say what he wants on Twitter, but we are surely in a strong position now. Still not completely sure about him and his tweeting, but he is obviously a gifted player.

Ed. as we have parted company with drogba we are obv in need of a striker. Now we are linked with several and strongly linked with hulk. But as gourlay said last week that we may have 2 strikers who can score 25 goals a season in Torres and one more. Do we see hulk as that man or as a right winger which is where I believe he usually plays for Porto. Could we see hulk and another striker arrive in the summer. There's a story going around that Lucas Moura is off to Real Madrid because Wagner Ribeiro 1. owes Florentino Perez money; 2. ballsed up the sale of Neymar to Real; 3. feels obligated to set things right as a consequence.
Real Madrid apparently alienated Neymar because of Perez's insistence that the deal be pushed through before 2013. When the player and his family expressed doubt and sought to delay the transfer, Perez turned overbearing and attempted to browbeat Neymar's dad into submission. This did not go across well. Neymar signed a new contract with Santos instead and disassociated himself from Ribeiro as a result. The player is supposedly set on Barcelona now.

hey ed.....just wondering that if Courtois is loaned back to athletico madrid next season, is he allowed to play against us in the super cup???i know the rule exist with FA but have no idea about UEFA...are the loan players allowed to face their primary teams?? {Ed002's Note - I don't know.}
I think the rule applys to european football as it does to fa im not 100% sure it depends wot the terms of the loan deal is if the super cup is classed as a "friendly" then he will probably be allowed to play likely hood is he wont be playing i might well be wrong though

Is it true Chelsea have set up something like an under-25 transfer policy? It was a bit of dodgy rumor I heard, but it would mean a player like Higuain couldn't join.

Ed - the club are potentially signing a fourth Belgian in Hazard (if it happens).
Is there an intentional policy to group talented players of the same nationality together (better bedding in and cohesion maybe?) or is Courtois, De Bruyne, Lukaku and potential signing Hazard purely coincidence.

Hazard signing would be great if it can be done. Not going to get my hopes up high because after all its been like a hollywood flick and im sure theres more twists yet. Hulk on the other hand will be a good signing if we can get him for around 30 mil.
Anyhow good work Ed, not been on much but i have been following posts here and there. Thanks again for the work.
