Jose Mourinho has decided to quit Real Madrid at the end of this season for a Premier League job.Back to Chelsea ED002? {Ed002's Note - As I said, it is not time for speculation right now.}

If it wasnt a possibility you would have ruled it out so maybe a chance i guess

Rumour was he would be back at chelsea in 2 years from taking real job. last year i could see it happening but i think AVB will be given the time and funds to rebuild. he may end up at united.
but am thinking maybe there is a takeover somewhere else?

ED002 when carlo was in charge it was said he had little influence on who Chelsea bought , but Mourinho and AVB do have a say why was this? In a interview Carlo said he wished to bring in Pirlo Ribery and Alonso? {Ed002's Note - Ancelotti was very much a coach and having previously managed in Italy would not expect to be driving transfers. He had some influence. I have no knowledge about Pirlo etc..}

A question about Robinho back when we tryed to sign him and city hijacked the move,How advanced were talks with Madrid until city came knocking i seem to recall the Chelsea shop were already advertising Robinho shirts? {Ed002's Note - The deal was all but done.}

When carlo said about ribery alonso it was while he was Milan manager and he was talking to abramhovic so by time he was our manager Ribery was bit in form and alonso was at Madrid.

Was the picture not the reason the deal fell through ed? Do we still want him?

Hi Ed, Whats the clubs stance on Mikel, he hasnt be involved in the last few months especially with how well Romeu has played. Would you expect him to be moved on in the summer along with Kalou and Malouda?

Also i no the club has a wide scouting network, have Gaston Ramirez of Bologna or Roberto Firmino of Hoffenheim been looked at, cheaper options than a Hazard or Hulk for instance and potentially world class players.

Are there any deals Not chelsea related which you see happening across the world of football in these last few days? {Ed002's Note - I think there will be plenty of fairly significant transfers. Guarin to Inter, Ganso to Porto is a possibility (if not Gonzalez), Tevez perhaps, Thiago Motta to PSG, Cisse leaving Roma and Honda joining. Plenty will happen.}

now ramires is injured we need to sign a creative midfielder plus a winger in this window, i know essien is back, but his knee is suspect still and i dont think he will be the player he was. get moura and hazard now MR Abramovich and the season could yet be a success!!

Remember this name.... Nathan Redmond a truly good prospect playing for Birmingham fc.......

Hazard has been quoted as liking psg . If so he has no ambition as the French league is no comparison...

Let's see what the diagnosis is first...Essien is back now so that's some comfort to any Ramires absence.

They saying it was his knee. Again. Very bad news. Hopefully will mean AVB buys big if its rules out ramires for a while.

Essien is just back from injury and he's had a some major knee surgeries in the last couple of years - I doubt we can consider him ready to come in and play for Ramires.

Ed2: i know that at our club there are people who think thry should sign players and there is a coach to coach them. The Britn system of a manager doesn't live ovet here, but what exactly have we achieved in it eversince Ranieri and Mourinho did the selection?

I am sorry, it is just me trying to fast type over iphone. I could barely understand what was i asking when i read it.

What i was trying to say is that the team which won us trophies was assembled by the managers - Ranieri and Mourinho. Eversince we had coaches. Being paid to coach, not manage the team. The players who came to Chelsea under their supervision were exceptional and brought us trophies. Since them two are gone, so is the system where a manager has a say ib transfers.

Ed02 has said that AVB has a say in transfers where he publicly admits that DeBruyne is not his decision. I don't think this leads to any good. Maybe it wasn't exactly a question. This could have been some sort of frustration. And i hope i am wrong with this view.

JG {Ed002's Note - The interest in De Bruyne predates the arrival of AVB. Raneiri had very much a free hand. Mourinho was provided advice on players from an advisor who remains associated with the club still today but generally drove the purchases himself. AVB certainly has a significant input to the decision process in respect of players. There is no issue.}

Ed2: would you say, that AVB is in different position to Scolari, Grant and Ancelotti in the power at the club. In other words, would you expect AVB to be given power in the way Jose was? {Ed002's Note - I am not sure what you mean by "power at the club".}

Ed2: i believe you do, but the wording might have gone wrong. Do you think AVB has the backing to finish what he has started. Does he have a necessary support to carry on beyond season. Frankly our football is terrible and nowhere near the expected attacking eye caching one of Porto of last season. We are losing our identity of a strong defensive unit of past seasons, we atmre losing home games at will, things are different. So i am worried and willing to understand wheter AVB is a coach (another trying to emulate the most successful one) or does he have a backing come what may because he is the One? {Ed002's Note - AVB is manager of the first team and has the backing of the board and the first team players. I am really not sure what you mean by "power". Power to do what?}

Ed2: is he a manager or a coach, to simplify it. Sorry to bother you, but there is a difference of Mourinho's influence in the club and Acelotti's. Power, as in influence in running the team affairs, transfers, sales, loans, scouting etc. Do you reckon we will have him here long term? {Ed002's Note - AVB is the manager of the first team - that is his job. Mourinho did not run all of those aspects of the club. I have no idea how long AVB will remain manager.}
