SO apparently Courtois wants to sign for Real. I've never been fully convinced he'd stay long term for us and to be honest he has disappointed me compared to how good he was at Atletico. If Azpilcueta, Kante or Hazard left I'd probably be depressed but I don't think T-BO deserves to be up there with them 3 although he's definitely a quality keeper. It's got to be Oblak to replace him. We need to get at least 60 million for Courtois in today's market.

I wouldn't read too much into what Balague says. Most of the crap he says is wrong. T-BO is a class keeper in any eventuality.

I agree that thibo is more replaceable than the others you've mentioned and if we can replace him with someone like Oblak i wouldn't be too worried in his departure. I would like to think we are going to be busy this January but we all know how hard it can be to sign quality players during this Transfer window unless the players force the move. Personally would like to see us go for players like Munier, Sandro, Mahrez, Goretzka, Auba, Telles, Vidal, Draxler, Lemar. We've been linked with most of these players recently, whether it was during the summer or the past few weeks but no doubt in my mind any of those would improve our team massively. I know this isn't FIFA and i don't expect us to sign these players either but any improvements on our Full Backs, and at striker are definitely needed imo.

Kristof Terreur (reliable when it comes to Belgian players in England especially) says the contract extension is going the right way. We're willing to pay up it seems, and Courtois might very well sign. Balague doesn't know what he's talking about. You shouldn't pay much attention to the BS he spouts.

Whilst I don’t doubt Real want 2 keepers, I doubt a Kepa would be happy being second choice and I doubt Courtois would be happy being relegated to bench and cup matches after a year or two. So imo it’s one or the other.
