I know AVB likes to play around with the journo's but I think comments recently made re. players coming in during January hold some truth.
Cahill is going to happen, they'll get Josh McEachran, on loan, in return; probably!
Krasic = Maybe! I can't see us doing anything other than loan him in January, if he does well then a deal might be done in the summer!
Kaka = Rubbish! We are not going to be in for a 22mil player who is nearly 30!
De Bruyne = Maybe! Genk really need to lower their demands, he wouldn't be a first team player at this stage anyway!
Azpilicueta = Unlikly! I see him as a summer target for next season, Bosingwa will leave and he, or a similar type player, will join!
Neymar = NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! I would happliy eat my words but don't think I will, same goes for Ganso, Modric and Sneijder!
Higuain = Maybe! If Cavani goes Madrid and we decide we want another striker I don't thin there would be many better options than him; may signal the end for Torres though.
Cavani & Hamisk! = Nope! Napoli hard to deal with, Cavani going Spain (Madrid) and Hamsik likley to go Milan.
Moutinho = Unlikly! Same goes for him as I said for Azpilicueta, I think we'll sing him in the summer as a replacement for outgoing players.
Rodwell = Unlikly! I think he will be a summer signing too, I know there are loads of fans who don't like the idea of Rodwell signing but he is young, English and would be a great addition to the SQUAD! He wouldn't be signed as a replacement for Romeu!!!
Cahill and one other in January, larger squad overhaul in the summer!!!

Josh can't go to Bolton as they've already got kakuta and can't have 2 players from same club in same season I think.

Kakuta's loan has finished.

Kakuta is not at Fulham (that was last season). As per the pages here, he is lined up to move to Dijon in the near future.

If it's true Kaka is available for £22 million we should get him that would be a steel at that price he's still a world class player

He is still world class i do agree, and at a cut price in the region of 20m he would be a great addition and will help free Mata and Sturridge. He could serve the blues for a couple of years or even more but certainly not a long term replacement to any of our players.

He WAS a world class player - like when he tore man utd to pieces playing for Milan. However he is past his best - why do you think he is not a RM regular? Why do they want to sell him?

He's 30 in a few months time. 20million for a 30 year old on the way out. Ye're a right pair of broken spotlights you two.

Ha pair of broken spotlights like it......no but to be fair 20mill+ on a 30 yr old is ridiculas......its a rubbish story tho i recon

Hey ed, if you could straighten something out for me, what's the talk about higuain? Do you predict AVB will make a bid for him? Surley if by some miracle he does come to the bridge that would mean torres and drogba would have very limited mins of playing time.
Cheers mate, thanks for all the hardwork you do. {Ed002's Note - Higuain was offered to Chelea but with a proviso regarding Cavani that may not be acceptable. The price discussed was also rather high. No decision has been taken regarding a bid at this time.}

Rumours are just part of sports entertainment. The truth with Chelsea FC is that at this point in time they need 7 players OUT and 7 players IN. They need to fix these evils: aging. egos, AVB's philosophy out of tune with assets at hand, an attitude problem which inhibits Chelsea to commit against small teams, lack of speed, stopping players making reckless statements to the press eg Man U players never do this, et etc etc. Thanks all. Ed, have we agreed a deal for Cahill with Bolton ? {Ed002's Note - No, he remains an option with others as we have explained. There is also interest with Cahill from other clubs - although there have been talks.}
