Hi ed another puzzling question is there any chance of us sending one of our talented youngsters ie lukaku or kdb to shurries team that way they can have a replacement for shurrie and some cash and we could get the player we want and our youngsters gain experience
Cheers ed

Extremely worried about joshua mceachrans future at club. He is looking like a lost face in the crowd. With oscar coming in' he seems out for a loan.
Kings xi punjab chelsea brisbane roar.
Hes played some really good passing football pre season, plus oscar is more up the field in a mata type roll and josh would play deeper like lamps role. so really oscar coming dents piazons chances not mceachran. BLUEBOY1
I think we'll feature him in cup games and the odd sub appearance in the league for the first half of the season then loan him out for the second half if he's not gonna get anymore football. I really hope he gets the future he deserves at Chelsea!
I believe McEachrans time will come when Lampard moves on or takes a smaller role within the club. Ed mentioned this could be as soon as the season after next.
Tk
Dont know why everybody worries about him, i simply don't think he's good enough for Chelsea and probably never will be. People are letting their hearts rule their heads - Romeu us twice the player.
I don't think Romeu is turning out to be the find everyone thought he was either. Josh's loan last season was nothing short of a disgrace. How many playing minutes did Swansea give him? Don't think it got out of double figures.

Hi ed, do you see a deal for willian going through? {Ed002's Note - Search engine please.}
Hope not and that we concentrate on RB an and CF now

Have to say that I am extremely happy about the way Chelsea have conducted their transfers this summer so far. However, there is still around a month to go and these are the players that I'd like to see arrive:
Azpilicueta £8m
Falcao £35~40m
I think Azpilicueta is pretty self explanatory, but Falcao I feel would be the best striker we could bring in for a number of reasons. Don't get me wrong I'd love to see Cavani at the Bridge next season however Falcao is undoubtably the more intelligent player in terms of his hold up play and movement. This is significant to how successful he would be in our team next season as we are looking to play with more fluidity and an increased tempo getting nearer the six yard box. He has also played (and been successful with) a similar system and philosophy at At Madrid last year. Neither did he show any signs of the pressures of a big price tag. Cavani on the other hand would have been better with the style of play we utilised last year; as a target man looking to hit opposition on the counter attack with a direct style of play. We have also been linked with Moses, yet I'm still not sold on Moses coming, especially for no more than 8£m as by number of attacking mids we have it is pointless plus he isn't yet good enough to spearhead Chelsea's attack of Torres gets injured.
Now for the players out of the door:
Meireles £8m
Kakuta £2.5
Benayoun/Malouda £5m
Now for the squad, including players that may be loaned later:
Cech, Turnbull, Hilario
Ferreira, Azpilicueta, Ivanovic, Kane, Luiz, Cahill, Terry, Chalobah, Hutchinson, Bertrand, Cole
Essien, Ramires, Lampard, Obi, McEachran, Romeu
Mata, Marin, Benayoun, Hazard, De Bruyne, Piazon, Oscar
Torres, Falcao, Sturridge, Lukaku, Bamford
Sorry for the length of the post but I'm a qualified scout and I'm truly passionate about this sort of stuff.
Agree with most, i feel kakuta needs a chance hes still young & deffo has the skill just needs to learn his positional play
I do believe ferreira was told he can leave , i doubt he would stay , in the last 2 to 3 years you could probably count the games he has played on 1 hand
The only thing I can agree on is I would love falcao at the club
The rest afraid not
Your squad includes 4 players that will go on loan and 2 players that will leave
And kakuta will never make it at chelsea
I have clearly said that the squad includes players "that may be loaned later" and Kakuta is in the players I would sell section.
There is no point selling Ferreira as we won't get anything with only a year left on his contract. He's extremely useful for the club off the field.
Hence the reason he says the squad INCLUDING players to be loaned
Interest in Moses is not as back up for Torres but as a SQUAD member for right side of the 3 behind the front man
Hence why the guy has said there is no point for Moses with the amount of attacking mids we have.
Hence the word squad and the fact some will move on
Some people can only see a first eleven
We need to have a strong SQUAD
Even if people are loaned out or sold we have players that are versatile enough to deal with it. People keep saying that we are competing in 7 trophies this season, which is true, but they will only add about 5 games to the amount we played last season...
Am I the only one worried about an injury to Cech? Surely we should go for an oldie as decent cover - James, Robinson, Friedel... No-one can believe that Hilario or Turnbull are anywhere near good enough?
SD MHL
Courtois would be recalled if Cech got injured. {Ed002's Note - If it was a serious injury.}

Hey Ed, i know u dont have much interest in the kiddies but can u pls do some digging to see if our rumoured interest in 17yrs Oliver Torres of A.madrid is real, thanks in advance.
DASTANJ {Ed002's Note - Chelsea have enquired about Torres when a loan was being discussed for a player. I am pretty sure nothing will come of it in the short term.}
He is absolutely quality though YouTube him!
Saw youtube clip, this kid is out of this world, could be a amazing midfielder one day, played 2 years up in Under19s EURO's and didnt look 1 inch out of place. He unbelievable passing skills, is very fast and can fly past people with his brilliant skills and feet
ChelseaL
I know he was one of the players of the tournament an is just 17!!

What is the latest with moses? Is it true a new bid has been made, and has that been accepted or rejected?
Thanks {Ed002's Note - Try the search function.}

Cavani linked with chelsea as he wife we mugged in Italy and she has moved to London for safety thus Cavani moving to England looks likely
Already been said mate, read the posts
Lol at safety of london behave urself
She has moved to Manchester actually which is where Cavani is .
She still won't be safe in Manchester. If anything it's worse.
Your reasoning on why he would come to Chelsea is ridiculous.
Moved to london for safety waaaaaaaaaaaaa

Will Chelsea get rid of Ross Turnball and Hilario? {Ed002's Note - There is no immediate plan. An agreement exists with Hilario if a club offering first team football he would be allowed to leave.}
Keep Hilario get rid of Turnball.
I don't think either of them are good enough to be our number 2. If Petr Cech gets a serious injury we would be in trouble without a better quality keeper.
At the very least we should get proper back-up. We will be in big trouble if Cech gets an injury.
MHL
Ed has said many times that if cech got injured we would bring courtios back.
Blue con
Exactly common sense states courtois would be recalled if cech gets injured
first reply why would you rather keep hilario hes useless well mind you so is turnbull but hes younger and all the goals during pre season hilario let in could of easily been avoided for example MLs all stars first goal iv seen snails move quick off the line
I'd rather have Turnbull simply because he's younger and homegrown while neither brings much talent wise.

What about Jack Butland?
26 Jul 2012 14:35:42
Quite the transfer season. We've got Hazard and Hazard, Oscar and Marin. Whose next I wonder?
I expect Chelsea to get Azpilicueta and either Cavani or Falcao, making it one of the best transfer windows in our history!
And Moses
Cant see falcao coming but i would be fairly sure the other 3 will arrive
Azilipcueta
Di matteo said 2 more, but at the end of the day its not 100 percent up 2 him
26 Jul 2012 14:33:14
are Chelsea Still Intrested in Lazar Markovic? {Ed002's Note - The fee was too high - at the right price yes.}
Markovic is defently one for the future. I see the glory hunters have disagreed.
Why do people think this is unbelievable? Markovic is a good prospect. You're probably just middle class faggots who pretend to support Chelsea.
26 Jul 2012 13:33:19
Hi Ed is there any chance Chelsea will go for Neymar before the window ends?
Also is Bertrand going to be loaned out or will RDM give him a chance in the first team?
Great work here Eds. {Ed002's Note - No and I would doubt a loan.}
Why do people want bertrand to go on loan hes too good to be loaned if ashley gets injured hes ready to fill in
26 Jul 2012 13:00:20
wow our third kit makes us look like bumblebees
Looks like a super hero costume in years to come that will be in a worst football kit ever
26 Jul 2012 12:37:10
Hi Ed
it seems Jovetic is going to Juve and there is nothing new about Hulk and Cavani, so who are we going to buy at ST? {Ed002's Note - I have explained where the interest lies.}
26 Jul 2012 12:20:59
Ed, are Chelsea still intrested in neymar? {Ed002's Note - Not right now.}
26 Jul 2012 10:16:07
Just a thought guys, wouldnt it be a brilliant move by the club to secure a partnership with Crewe Alexandra, who have brought through many young talents e.e Nick Powell, Max Clayton. Would love to see some of our Reserves who arnet shining (looking like they will go pro) going on loan to a good l1 club and chelsea getting first choice on youngsters like Max Clayton, Matt Tootle and Ben Garrett.
I know they are situated no-where near us but they are developing so much English talent we shouldnt care.

So with the deal for Oscar now finalised, and a striker a priority - would Moses still be a prime target? You said before Ed that Moses is seen as a replacement for Kalou, so should we sign a striker (could be seen as replacement for Drogba) and a RB - are there any other targets other than Moses to replace Kalou if Wigan don't accept our offer?
Davo {Ed002's Note - For now it is Moses.}
26 Jul 2012 09:28:04
Hi ed , is there anything new to report about chelsea new stadium plans or are they still looking for a suitable area for it ? The plans for the battersy power station looked amazing , its a real pitty we didnt get it . tomcfc {Ed002's Note - There is nothing new. The club will be speaking again to teh local council.}
26 Jul 2012 10:07:32
Azpillicueta, Lucas Moura or Hulk and Ba or Lewandowski to sign
Lucas Moura will not be singing for Chelsea this summer
Azpilicueta will sign.
and a striker, no lucas moura now we have oscar
Yes, no, probably no, no and no
stop posting your dribble
Only want Azpillicueta, Hulk and perhaps Cavani and we would have a dream team ;)
More like Azpilicueta, Moses and Cavani. Although even then Cavani still seems a way off.
Actually, moura plays on the right. Oscar in the middle. In a 4-2-3-1 formation, we would have the ultimate attack with Hazard on the left, Oscar centre and Moura on the right. It could work.
What about Mata?
Wow are you serious mata is MUCH better than moura go away not adding him in your squad
26 Jul 2012 00:33:49
Ed,
What's the update on the Azpilicueta deal? I heard that OM might be resigned to sell him, but talks with Chelsea have stalled because of the Olympics.
Thanks in advance. {Ed002's Note - There is nothing new to say. I would expect the deal to go through in the coming weeks.}
25 Jul 2012 23:39:35
ED002 a couple of questions
1) Are Chelsea going to offer Lampard a 1 year extension?
2) Has oscar officially signed for Chelsea now? {Ed002's Note - (1) There will be a discussion at some point but I suspect this will be his last season. (2) Yes, it is now complete.}
25 Jul 2012 21:38:01
Hi ed002, you're always my best source for transfer activity, so i thank you!
just a question on strikers, i know you've been asked alot about strikers at present, but i have another.
Cavani- Price difference
Hulk- Price difference
Ledwenski - price difference
falcao- Unavailable
jovetic- ed is he a possibility?
doumbia- last resort?
thank you ed, i personally see us getting jovetic, where do we stand with jovetic at the moment?
thanks in advance. {Ed002's Note - Arsenal, Roma, Napoli and Spurs did show previous interest in Jovetic, but Chelsea and JUventus remain interested if the price is acceptable. Juventus is the most likely destination at this time.}
Ed002 is Falcao unavailable or would they sell at the right price? {Ed002's Note - Perhaps.}
Is it just me surprised by Juve's renewed vigour in the transfer market? I was under the impression that their financials were not great and that they were in no shape to go after marquee players under FFP.
25 Jul 2012 19:15:47
hey ed are there any other teams interested in azpilcueta? thanks =] {Ed002's Note - Marseille's right back Cesar Azpilicueta has been considered by Real Madrid, Chelsea, Athletic Bilbao, Roma, Valencia and Barcelona. Initial interest from Manchester United has waned. Regardless of the interest of Roma, Chelsea are best placed to complete a deal but the player still needs a persuading that his international career will not suffer if he moved to England. A deal will likely be completed after the Olympics.}
26 Jul 2012 03:27:55
excuse me Ed but will Chelsea be buying another Striker or will it just be torres {Ed018's Note - Chelsea are certainly looking into buying another striker}
25 Jul 2012 21:21:56
Telegraph reporting 8mill deal agreed for Azpilcueta. Credit must go to ed2 who nailed his colours to the mast a long while back by saying he was Chelsea's first choice.
Just been on telegraph website and cant find it, link?

Cesar Azpilicueta: Expected to be offloaded by Marseille this summer
Cesar Azpilicueta is flattered to hear of Chelsea's interest in his services, but claims they are not the only club in the running to secure his signature.
The Blues are understood to be leading the chase for the Marseillefull-back, with a summer switch seemingly on the cards.
The 22-year-old Spaniard is among those Marseille are prepared to part with as they look to generate much-needed funds.
The Ligue 1 outfit would be reluctant sellers, but they appreciate that their prized assets will need to be moved on if they are to bring fresh faces in.
Azpilicueta has spent the last two years in France and appears open to the idea of taking on a new challenge elsewhere.
Relaxed
He is aware of the rumours suggesting he could be on his way to Stamford Bridge, but a man who will be representing Spain at the 2012 Olympics is refusing to speculate on where he may end up.
"I am relaxed and waiting for developments," said Azpilicueta.
"It is flattering when you have clubs such as Chelseainterested in you, but there are other clubs interested as well.
"Nothing is decided as yet so let's wait and see what happens."
