Apparently Rudiger is reported as refusing to rule out a move to Chelsea in January, I'm never to sure with what gets reported but I remember at the end of last season we were linked to him until he got injured, and even still to this day linked, I'm guessing there's no smoke without the fire, question is what will our back 3 be if we sign him, who will drop out? , I can't see Luiz being dropped as he's playing the best he ever had and is the best ball player and just signed for 30 mill, I think logicaly it would be Rudiger and Luiz and 1 of the others, Not sure who though between Cahill, Zouma, Azpilacueta our defence would be super strong if none of these left.

I would imagine Cahill would drop out as I feel Azpi covers more ground and is quicker and then Zouma replacing Azpi eventually.

We've got Zouma returning from injury and Christensen coming back next summer, we don't need him.

Do chelsea still see griezmann as a target?

{Ed002's Note - Atletico has no intention of selling Griezmann unless a very significant fee is offered. Whilst Griezmann has said on a number of occasions that he has no plans to leave Spain anytime soon, he has said he would be interested in a move to Chelsea if the opportunity arose in the future - and whilst that still stands, he wants to stay at Atletico for what will likely have to be two years with an impending issue which will impact the club. Enquiries from Manchester United and Arsenal went nowhere but if they were to return with a commitment to pay an acceptable amount there will be talks. PSG and perhaps Bayern Munich would also be very interested if he became available. PSG will not be in a position to do any sort of deal unless some very adventurous other plans they have fall through, but they are desperate for a high-end French player and he might move to the fore as a target. Bayern Munich look to have found their desired player elsewhere and I would think can likely be ruled out. Chelsea pushed for a deal for Griezmann and discussions continued with a third party representing Chelsea but were told there would be no sale and he has signed a new contract - but a recent discussion was again held and if he comes on to the market they could return with another proposal. End of the day - I suspect he will stay in Madrid for two more years and then move - but probably not to Chelsea.}

Probably to United when he leaves. They've got all the money needed and more. The English Galacticos are being created : (

I'd imagine it's Kingsley Coman, whose option to buy following the loan they will take up.
