Hopefully that puts Sarri out rumours to bed for a while now. Tactics were spot on, Substitutions were what we wanted and the players put in a real shift. Of course it's devastating that we lost, especially on pens, but it could've gone either way. Hopefully we'll see the 11 players that finished the game starting from now on, for me that's easily our strongest side.

Ruben adding that driving force from the midfield and CHO's directness would help our attack so much. Desperately need a similar performance against Spurs now though, if Sarri continues to play the right players and is willing to adjust i think we'll get top 4.

I truly believe that Sarri has been told by the powers that be that, if he wants to keep his job, he needs to give CHO and RLC more minutes and be more flexible in his tactics. Because he has listened to these words of 'advice' (threat), his job is now safe until the summer.

I’m baffled Mrs Costa. Over the last few weeks you have consistent in your campaign “Sarri Out Now”. You have called him out as a usless and out of his depth.

How can Sarri win with critics who want him out for being tactically stupid but when he gets it right it can’t be his idea/ plan.

For some posters Sarri will never make them happy.

Lol Mrs Costa your intelligence is beyond belief haha. You must have direct sources within the board room to have come out with that level of garbage. If that was to be the case then the board would just manage the playing squad.

Give the manager credit, the tactics he employed yesterday worked when we won 2-0 earlier on in the season. So he simply reverted back to them. It's not rocket science.

Personally I don't hate Sarri and I believe our squad strength is better than our results recently. I also know that he's been getting his formations and tactics wrong of late which is
Iapparent to everyone. Like I noticed from Mrs. Costa post, a little tweak here and there will do everybody good because it has become imperative.
We're all happy even though we lost to a very good city team because he heed to our obvious desire, changing formation from the usual and giving some players chance as well. In essence fans loyalty is to the club and not an individual player or coach as such love Sarri when he's doing it right but demand improvement when not.
However it should be noted that Sarri may be on the edge already. I still think that Spur's game might be very decisive for him. If we lose to Spurs then it might spell doom for him. Chelsea may have learnt from Mourinho last season that you have to do it early enough or lose out in top 4 race. That ultimately denies you revenue that would accrued therefrom.

76pts (2pts per game) will put our team in the top four and I believe we will get that total.

I’m sure someone will tell me how many times if any, 76pts has not been enough to qualify for the Champions League?

I think the final was, all things considered, our best performance from a tactical point of view. Sarri did a great job in this game.

The reality is that this one performance has earned him a stay of execution, his job is still teetering over the edge. Revert back to his old mistakes, get beaten at home by Spurs, and he could go over the edge.

Hopefully he turns things around and takes us on a good run of results, leading us into the top four - I'll applaud him if he does. But one decently coached game isn't enough to change my overall opinion on him.
