Italian radio station Radio Marte, official radio station for SSC Napoli have announced that Chelsea and Napoli have reached an agreement of between 55 and 60 million euros for the outright purchase of Cavani and his image rights. Cavani will earn 8.5 million euros a year before tax.
Don't shoot the messenger.
This rumour has already been proven to be false.

Unfortunately as soon as I posted this, the agent denied it. Always the way.
How the hell do the Telegraph publish if this is not true? Thought more of the Telegraph maybe they need new journo's.
The Telegraph like all newspapers is there to tell you the news not the truth. If the news turns out to be the truth then believe me is it mostly coincidental. That is the same of all newspapers and their online versions.
The agent didn't deny that Chelsea had agreed a fee he just played down talk that this deal was anywhere near completion.
Cavani hasn't decided yet and I think the agent is just playing it safe and taking any pressure off Cavani's final decision.
A decision will not be made untill he has finished his international obligations.
This is not true! cavani has stated himself that real is where he wants to play and napoli have stated they want to keep him!
Again if I may say so. you are all believing "paper talk" and people making up malicious rumours, its all made up to sell papers, wait till july 1st when the transfer window opens and then ( and only then ) money talks and the real transfers become a reality, I personally think cavani is biggin up all the clubs "he would like to join" to increase the offers made to buy him (including wages) I don't think that is a real thing to do as u should join a club because you have personal interest in making that club a success and not just making money for your personal gain, alltho getting a good wage for yourself is a major point but there is a point when taking the **** gets too much, on that note you would do the same and he is an amazing player so he's doing what any1 would do to "drive a hard bargain" and provide, if he is going to help the club wait till july and confeds cup has finished to get your hopes up.
P. S i'm always on this site and reading these comments but now I thought I would have my say so don't hate.
