Whilst him signing a new contract is great, I really don't think Vitesse loans have done much for our youth really.

I think Vitesse is an excellent step for an 18 year old boy that will start his professional career. With Colkett and Mukhtar Ali in midfield they should be able to play some decent stuff.

How is it not good for the player? He's gotten excellent coaching and development at Chelsea and now he gets the chance to start playing professional football.

Name a few players that have been to vitesse and returned as first teamers then. At best they return to be sold at a profit which helps us buy bigger players.
