Ed
Having watched the match today and seen how poor luiz was. He appeared to stroll around making little or no effort to get back when losing the ball.
Is there any chance he will leave in the summer. If he is quoted correctly in the papers his head appears to have been turned by talk of interest from barcelona.
Also any truth in arsenal trying to steal chalobah.

Andy b {Ed002's Note - The recent discussions between the clubs did not involve any transfer of Luiz. The had made a previous approach but nothing recently. I am not aware of Arsenal interest but he is a kid so I am less likely to know.}

Luiz poor? Mikel was terrible!

Luiz was very casual. I'd rather sell him than play him defence. I really get worried when he's played there.

ed have chelsea lost interest in jackson martinez? {Ed002's Note - Porto are prepared to cash in on him with interest from Atletico Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester City and Barcelona. Porto will seek his full release clause of 40M euro but would likely need to settle for less. Atletico Madrid are seeking further talks.}

At 28, not exactly what is needed. Luke Shaw for me, he's got potential to be better.

Do we want kieBling {Ed002's Note - Bayer Leverkusen's Stefan Kiessling is being hawked around English clubs by his agent. It is expected that West Ham might push for a move if a deal for Andy Carroll is not completed.

Are Chelsea interested in Reus or Gotze as both look quality in the champions league and are likely to only get better {Ed002's Note - Arsenal, Manchester United and Barcelona were previously knocked back by his club although Goetze has identified his favourite teams as Barcelona and Arsenal. There has also been interest also from Real Madrid, Juventus, Chelsea and AC Milan - who I suspected were shifting their interest in Ganso or Fernando to Goetze. Chelsea know that there will be pressure from elsewhere to buy the player - most notably AC Milan and the major Spanish sides - and are of the opinion that a move to England will probably not come about - although I suspect Manchester United will look to the player again.

I don't see Reus as being available.}

Remember all the Lukaku criticts at the start of the season? I remember posting something about how good his ability was and seemed to get a lot of disagrees and a few negative coments. So how stupid do those critics feel now?

Mate, that's the Chelsea way. Kids are never given a proper chance to prove themselves. Maybe the FFP will help change the perspective bcos, like I've always said, I'll rather give a chance to youth than waste ridiculous money on overrated players. High time we started integrating youth into the first team. And above all, stability is a must, whoever comes in at the end of the day must be given time. Even if we don't win anything for two seasons, at least we'll have a strong and competitive squad. Both fans and owners shd lower their expectations a bit.

Agree0 Disagree0

I remember at the start of the season that me and curt were saying how torres needed to go as soon as possible. We got responses sayin that we didn't know what we was talking about and that Torres would return to his former self. Now everyone is saying that he needs to go, if only people listened to what we was saying at the start of the season.

If Lukaku wasn't at West Brom he wouldn't be the player he is now. If we kept him he wouldn't get regular games. It would be great if Romelu was going to get regular games next year I would think he would be a great second choice. But I'd prefer as he is still 19, he has another year at west brom where he can start week in week out and show he can dominate defenders at all clubs.

If we brought him back while bringing in a already finished product (Falcao/Cavani) he wouldn't see anywhere near as many minutes as he would as west brom.

He was a die hard Chelsea supporter before he joined and idolised Drogba. With six years to go until he reaches the age Didi joined at, I have to say (massive call) he could become a better player. The way he bullies defenders like Didi did and is 19yo he has all the time in the world to develop into the best striker in the world. Remind me who was behind the Lukaku, Courtois and KBD signings? That's right Emanulo.

Melbourne

Agree0 Disagree0

To be fair in pre season he couldn't trap a bag of cement and his 2nd touch was a tackle. Melbourne is right he is better off where he is. Where he will get playing time and that goes for Piazon, Courtois, Chalobah etc. De Bruyne I would rather have than Marin he's got more to his game
