Are we still looking at Alvaro Pereira ED02? {Ed002's Note - Chelsea are aware of Pereira's release clause (not a buy out clause) and have no interest at anything like the price Porto were quoting in the summer. Additionally, there have been no discussions with his club, simply speculation in the press or whatever. However, at the right price, Chelsea may well be interested but as of this time are not making any moves in that direction.}

hi ed as chelsea are in the market for a new center back who is the most likely option? will it between subotic, cahill and godin or is there anyone else? who is most likely and is hummles an option. chelsea should consider a double swoop for goetze and hummels, they are both two quality talents both young and are what the team needs. Hummels could be a great long term player to replace JT, any chance of these happening?

ED002 a couple of points for you according to some reports Florentino Perez now feels betrayed by the Santos president & Neymar himself as he has signed a new contract and now feels Barcelona may get there man so are Barca now back in the running to sign him? will we may another move for him? Also Balague mentioned Villa knows that Messi will always be ahead of him for Barcelona and has said he is open to the idea of moving and the premiership may be an option could chelsea make a move for him or is his age a concern?

Ed are we targeting any lower profile players to move to the bridge in the coming transfer windows like we did in the summer with the signings of courtious and romeu. We continue to be linked to big name players with big fee's which seem to be unrealistic and unsustainable targets in the long run in my opinion.. We have an extensive scouting unit scouring the globe but don't seem to target many less obvious targets. {Ed002's Note - Options are still being looked at and Wallace will be joining at some point, but I really don't keep up on the kids side of things too much. Ocampos was looked at but is probably not going to happen - at least not yet.}

Ed do you think a striker will come in January no names of course but could you see that happening.
I think Cahill will come as will de bruyne and I would like to see mceachran and lukaku go out on loan it would be nice to see josh show his class on match of the day {Ed002's Note - Chelsea are trying to sign a striker and the interest has a focus in Higuain but I struggle to see Real Madrid letting him go. Others have been looked at as well, including Cavani, Doumbia and others. There is a clear first choice in Higuain though.}
If these r 4 january does that mean drogba will leave {Ed002's Note - Anelka will be leaving and Chelsea are trying for January. Originally the club did not want Higuain's name published but it is out there now so does no harm.}
