Whether we bring in established players or give our young players a chance next season - will depend on a lot of factors:
* Does Chelsea see winning the EPL as top most priority next season? If Chelsea does, then they will have to bring in strong established players and that would limit giving the young players like Odoi, Mount, J. DaSilva etc. decent playing time to develop. Truth is Chelsea has to see winning the EPL as a priority for next season.
* Consider the fact that a new ambitious manager that wants to win trophies cos he hasn't got a lot in his cabinet (most likely Sarri) will come in for next season. He will wanna win silverware; which will mean- bringing in trusted and established players- again this will limit the chance of our young players.
* Some of our best players whose contracts are running down like Hazard and Courtois are demanding that the club show more ambition in the transfer window before they can commit long term.
* We simply have to qualify for the UCL next season cos the longer we stay out of the UCL- the more difficult it will take us to get back in and we will tend to loosing quality players (that will seek Champions league football elsewhere) ; and will negatively affect our ability to attract better players.
As much as i want our young players like Hudson Odoi, Mount etc. given a chance, I think they should go on loan. I see very few players like- Loftus Cheek, Batshuayi and Kenedy (he might be sold or loaned out again) making it into the Chelsea squad for next season.

Target should always be winning league, minimum target is top 4, big teams shouldn’t start campaign not thinking they can’t win the league. May not be a realistic target but should be target, imo.

Just because it was me who said it. Im to negative apparently. Lol imagine starting the season and not wanting to win league, there the “ go out and enjoy it and don’t worry about winning or losing “ people.
