How people can doubt this ed is a mystery to me, I've been a regular on this site for about 2 years now and he has never hyped up anything that he is not 100% sure about, he told us about Torres, Mata, Cahill, Lukaku, the list goes on, so any doubters can get lost and become regulars at caughtoffside or footballbunker or some crap like that, rant over.

Completely agree. Don't understand why people insist on repeating questions that others have already asked! I've also been using the site for about two years and it's easily the best place to come for some decent information.
Really though, he does not tell us anything. He just gives us non-committal answers so that if a transfer does eventuate he can claim he has known all along.
How can ed give us a definative answer tho? only the chelsea board could do that! he tells us what he knows which is generally a lot more than sky sports news or any tabloid paper! and we get the odd insight into some of the "behind the scenes" of transfers i.e the part about an influential person seeing hazard as having an attitude problem....quite simple really if you dont like the page dont use it!:)

Listen up dummy, this is a forumn, forumns have rules, moderators/eds enforce those rules.
A grnetal rule of thumb when you go to a forum is using the search function to find answers to previously asked questions so that you don't look like an idiot.

Is it possible from 2 teams to come to an agree for a player now but he doesn't come until the Summer?
I feel this would be the best option for Eden Hazard as we don't want to try get him in the Summer for an over-inflated price with other teams trying to sign him? {Ed002's Note - Sure, Cech and Robben were both bought when Raneiri was manager but never played under him.}

Ed you said something about us offering a young player to Lille as part-compensation for Hazard, and you also said this player wouldn't be available until the summer. I'm guessing this player is Kakuta, coming from the french league and didn't we buy him from Lille originally? {Ed002's Note - I said that one point of discussion had been to possibly offer a player as part of a deal. Kakuta came from Lens.}

Okay Everyone listen up!
ED002 has done the best she can to explain the situation to us. At this stage of the transfer window these are Chelsea's obvious targets now:
* Eden Hazard
* Cesar Azpilicueta
* Willian
Now these signings are very much possible. Yes, all three of them. But at this time, we do not know how probable it is, so we will just have to wait and see!
If their are any new developments, you will hear it first from ED002!
Everyone should all relax: What happens, happens. We should all trust in AVB that he and the board will make the right signings nesessary to push the club forward.

Hi ED just wondering how many Champion League places are available, or will it depend on the players that we sell. The reason i ask is AVB has said he is not really interested in players that have already played in Champions League, but if we sell a player thats already played are we not allowed to replace him with another player thats already played for a different team. {Ed002's Note - Three changes may be made and one exception made - someone who has played in Europe - but not the Champions League.}

I've noticed recently that Chelsea have supposedly "stepped up their interest", especially in both Eden Hazard and Willian, depsite AVB saying that we are not interested in cup-tied players (Thanks ED for telling us not to read to much into what AVB has said! I can clearly see why now).
So I have just a quick question for you ED:
Can Chelsea sign both Hazard and Willian? Or would signing one effectively put an end to signing the other?

There is a lack of natural width and the club remain interested in players who can play wide and have the ability to adapt and be used elsewhere - Mata being an example. What would be much less likely is Willian and De Bruyne - that appears not to be a viable option at this time.}

A recent low bid from Galatasary was not accepted and they are planning on trying again to get Basel to consider selling tin this window. I am also sure if he were to become available then Arsenal would also be interested. 1. Shakhtar could well be attempting to drum up further interest in an attempt to sell Willian.
2. Also very likely that Sky, like most media sources, have attempted to make things seem just that little bit more interesting by suggesting a bid was made rather than just an inquiry.

Just used the search function for Willian and the first thing that comes up was from May 2011 where ED002 says that Willian offers no more than Kakuta... do you still feel that way ed? {Ed002's Note - I am by no means convinced by him.}

Personally I feel it would be more relevant to have the most recent up to date news, as this was from nearly a year ago, when things weren't as developed, mostly people publishing their fantasy dream teams :P This could be why you have to answer the same question every hour... There is little traffic on the Chelsea pages so items stay on the main pages much longer than they do for other clubs, therefor the search of the archive tends to start further back. Ed, Palkin is willing to negotiate, just watched his interview on RTR Sport (russian channel). Says they are not looking to sell, but would sell him for way lower demands because of good working relationship with CFC and Willians wish to

30 M euros is outrageous in my opinion. Although, i might be wrong, but i recall they paid in a region of 15 mil euros to get him from Brazil in the first place. Doubling your money in a few years is not exactly bad. But nowhere a good business deal for us. That's just my opinion. Ok I don't quite understand something. Ed you have said in recent posts that willian is a alternative to de bruyne. If these rumours are true why are we prepared to bid 16 million for willian when de bruyne would be cheaper than that? Also if willian comes would this rule out buying hazard. Think most Chelsea fans would prefer pay more for hazard. Alot better.
