Ed 002 Is there any truth in the rumour of Frank going to MLS in January?
Thanks {Ed002's Note - Try the search function please.}
I have tried the search function using Frank Lampard and I can find no comments about this point Ed 002? {Ed002's Note - There is every chance that Lampard will move to Los Angeles Galaxy at some point - possibly even as early as January. This option and the interest from America has been there for more than a year. However, there will be other options open to him as well and there are a couple of specific "issues" that would need to be resolved before any such move could take place. None of this is related to anything other than the time arriving for the older players to move on as the next generation come through. He has been and continues to be an excellent and most professional servant to Chelsea.}
Thanks very much for that Ed.
I would like to think that Frank remains at the club in some capacity long term as he is arguably the best role model we have at the club.
However I imagine he would become very frustrated being on the bench and may well want to spend the next few years playing before considering some kind of coaching role.
In an ideal world it would be good to keep him and for him to move into a player/coaching role but I imagine the club might feel the wages rquired to do that is too high. {Ed002's Note - He will not be staying in any player/coach role, I can be sure of that.}
That doesnt surprise me Ed002.
If Frank were to leave in January would the club look for more than one midfield player (Given Essien is unlikely to return) or do you think they will leave a spot for the likes of De bruyne/Chalobah/Josh ? {Ed002's Note - It will make no difference from the perspective of players being sought.}
