Ed002, are Chelsea interested in/scouting 16-year-old Croat Alen Halilovic? I must say the kid looks an outstanding prospect in attacking midfield. Could you please tell us the situation with him, as I read City are negotiating for him?
Thanks in advance {Ed002's Note - Dinamo Zagreb's Halilovic is attracting the attention of many of Europe's leading side including Real Madrid (who have had an offer turned down), Juventus, Ajax, Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal. A move to England in the short term is unlikely due to his age but at some point Manchester City will look to strike a deal.}

On a slightly more positive note, Cliford, Kane and Bamford out on short term loan deals.

do we want james rodriguez
I personally rather have him instead of Hazard, they are the same age and James is great.

London evening standard is reporting that Chelsea are planning a double January swoop for Falcao and James Rodriguez.
I no we need a world class striker but do we really need another winger. Rodriguez is unreal he's guna be a bog star but the only way he would get in the side is if we drop either Oscar, Mata or Hazard.
The paper also reports that Cavani will be second choice if the Falcao deal fails.

Hi ed, Leandro Damiao has come out and said he had a great understanding with ocsar at internacional and would love to link up with him again. Is he one of a number of strikers we are looking at? Cheers DJ! {Ed002's Note - No.}

London Evening Standard, a newspaper quite close to Chelsea today reports that Chelsea will launch a bid for James Rodriguez of Porto in January? Can you shed any light on this Ed, please? Thanks. {Ed002's Note - I really don't know anything of it, sorry.}
But you can confirm that United have a definite interest in him? {Ed002's Note - Three clubs spoke to Porto about James Rodrigues over the summer and two bids were rejected. Neither matched Porto's then valuation of the player (30M euro). The bidding clubs were Manchester United and Palermo whilst Bayern Munich looking looking carefully at Rodrigues as an alternative to Dries Mertens who they are keen to move for next summer. There may well have been enquiries from other clubs including Juventus and Napoli. It may be tough to find someone to pay the sort of fee Porto would now be looking for after negotiating a much higher release fee (45M euro) for the player.}
Thanks.

Ed, are atletico in contact with Napoli about cavani as a replacement for falcao? {Ed002's Note - No, they won't be.}
Their financial situation is appalling. They will be looking for a cheaper replacement than Cavani.
IB. {Ed002's Note - They will look to a part ownership deal (like Falcao) if needs be. They are also looking at players with contracts running down.}
