Have Chelsea made an approach for hulk or as Porto have stated they have Recieved no approach for hulk {Ed002's Note - Chelsea have had a number of discussions with Porto. I think you may have misread something.}

Latest iv heard is hulk has told paris st germain he wants to join chelsea and we have made the 38 mill offer

Ed002 is it true that Bayern Munich are in talks to sign Javi Martinez? {Ed002's Note - They may have enquired, but that is all. Manchester City are probably looking to replace Nigel De Jong in the summer and Javi Garcia and Javi Martinez were the two players they are looking at. I was told a while back that Inter Milan may make a bid for Javi if they decide not to take Juraj Kucka from co-owners Genoa. I am not convinced that Bilboa will want to sell the player any time soon, and if they do they will want 40M euro with Barcelona and Real Madrid being possible destinations. Garcia has signed a new deal at Benfica so I imagine Martinez will become a serious target for Manchester City who may also face interest from Manchester United.}

Hey Ed,

I'm shocked by all this hate towards Sturridge. He an English talent that was arguably one of our best players for the first half of the season. He is also versatile but understanbly wants to play his out and out striker position more often. I don't see the need of wasting £20 million on Jovetic when we have Sturridge who playing on the wing scored more goals than Jovetic last season plus Jovetic takes penalties! {Ed018's Note - Sturridge certainly doesn't have many fans on this board but I still feel if his attitude can be adjusted he can be a valuable part of the squad but I get the feeling he wants to be the starting center forward which he may not get at Chelsea and that could mean he moves on eventually}

Who cares if he's English or not, he ain't up to standard. I actually hate him. Get rid.

Im a Sturridge fan, I just know there are too many fans on here that love being linked to every player on the earth. Im a true chelsea fan (yearly season ticket holder) and have been since i could kick a ball. Danny is an exceptional player and he deserves a load of games next season. He was arguably our best player up until the run in, were he faded out a bit during performances. I just cannot understand some haters.

Just to add another viewpoint on Sturridge, if you take away Lamps penalties (11 - 3 = 8) then Sturridge was our highest league goalscorer on 11. Still needs to buck up his ideas but he has talent if he can be guided right.

Well I am a true supporter and have a season ticket as well (not that means anything) DS is the most overated player of his generation. He showbaots when he gets the ball, fails to work back and help out the defence and fails on so many occasions to look up to see a pass and takes the shot on when there really isnt much of chance of scoring. I know they say strikers are selfish but DS takes it to the next level.

People more upset with his attitude. He is young and brash. This can be managed im sure. His raw talent is undeniable. I would prefer to see fans on these sites supporting all our players better. Less drama with all this market speculation please....

As Chelsea fans we have to support our players! DS just has to learn to look up, compose himself and pass at the right opportunity. This is easily taught as he is still young. Also, I guarantee that if he was playing for any other club Chelsra would be interested in him.

He scores goals. He may be a little "greedy" but all the best strikers are - thats why they get goals.

IF he is happy to be 2nd choice behind Torres as striker - and play on the right when asked (when torres is playing), changing his attitue when in that position, then we should definately keep him.

Personally, I think he should accept being 2nd behind torres, and we should lok to a right sided player rather than looking for a striker and leeping Sturridge for the right - but it depends if Daniel can accept being 2nd choice in his prefered role.

If Chelsea sign Hulk and either Falcao / Cavani / Jovetic we would crush opposition in the Prmier League next season. Our problem over the past 4 years especially since Robben left is we haven't had sufficient quality in wide areas and attacking midfield areas to match our quality in central midfield / defence and in goal. I feel that if we had made this investment earlier (say 3 years ago) we would have more than one European Cup to our name and another league title. I feel the likes of Terry, Lampard, Cech, A Cole, Ivanovic have been let down in this sense that their quality and effort has not been matched in the forward area of the team by the likes of Malouda and Kalou. Having Kalou and Malouda as our two main wide options for the past 3/4 years has not been good enough. But give Terry, Lampard, A Cole and co the quality ahead of them which they deserve (ie - Hazard, Hulk, Cavani) and we're going to be unstoppable. I still think think our central midfield, defence and goalkeeper is the strongest in the world (shown in our defensive victory in the European Cup this season) but add to that a front line of wingers / attacking midfielders worthy of Chelsea and we're going to see fireworks. Touch wood these signings come off. - James13

No we don't, mikel is good enough, essien touchwood he doesn't get injured and gets more matches under his belt is also good enough, we still have meireles, romeu, hazard and mata both prefer central midfield to out wide.
We don't have to buy a player just for the sake of it, all we need is a right back, a right midfielder, and a striker

He has already rejected both Manchester City and Chelsea but AC Milan remain the most interested club. The Milan Press Office are convinced of interest from Manchester United and they have let it be known that they expect a bid to be made by for Eriksen who remains adament that he will stay in Amsterdam for two more years before moving to Spain. Expect AC Milan and Roma to press if a bid is made by Manchester United.}

I'd like Christian Eriksen to come to chelsea BUT he need a year or two to develop in Alax.

ED002 a couple of questions for you 1) I no we are not interested in Moutinho but do you know which other clubs are interested in him? 2) is Elia moving to West Ham?

CFC1905 {Ed002's Note - I don't know of any club willing to match the valuation on Moutinho.

Elia looked certain to move to Valencia a year ago with Liverpool and others considering the player too expensive. He decided to stay in Hamburg and then took the option of a move to Juventus over Newcastle - but it has not really worked out and Juve were willing for him to make a move on loan in January with, I expect, an option to buy. Everton, Hertha Berlin and Newcastle had apparently shown interest and his representatives were looking to place him in a northern European side where he would get a regular start but nothing came of it. He will be available this summer but the only firm interest right now is from Benfica and Genk although West Ham may try and lure him to London.}

Ed, what's the situation regarding Nuri Sahin at Real? I understand that he only made a handful of appearances last season. He is a fantastic player and I think that Chelsea should look into his availability. {Ed002's Note - Sahin has had injury problems this year but rumours do persist about his long term future. If he were to leave I would very much suspect a move to Italy (possibly with AC Milan) or a return to Germany (with Bayern Munich) would come before any thoughts of a move to England. Malaga also spoke to Madrid about the possibility of a loan and Galatasaray would like to take him to Turkey.}

Could be an exciting alternative to Modric. Good shout
