hey ed, are we interested in falcao? Also do u have an update on the lukaku situation? I heard that they were bringing their priced down to 20 million plus future incentives. {Ed002's Note - There is no interest in Falcao and Lukaku is being punted around the clubs by a desparate agent. So nothing.}

Chelsea look set to stick with Carlo Ancelotti as manager next season as they can't attract the big names that Abramovich wants. This is mainly down to Abramovich being to impatient for success in the champions league.

hey ed, any chance of us making a move for rob green? We need a sub goalkeeper and he's better than our other two as well as being a homegrown player {Ed002's Note - No, he would want first team action every week.}

Is there any chance we can get Xabi Alonso? He is a truly world class player being able to unlock defences with his accurate passing and has a deadly shot! I also think we should pay the 60m for Fabregas and 150m for Ronaldo (if there is any truth behind the stories) and build our team around them. This will def get the style of football Roman wants! Carlo would also be 1 of the best managers with that squad! {Ed002's Note - I don't think any of these will happen.}

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is considering trying to lure Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp and his chief scout Ian Broomfield to Stamford Bridge as he weighs up replacements for current Blues manager Carlo Ancelotti. But Turkey boss Guus Hiddink remains Abramovich's preferred choice, working alongside a younger coach such as Marco van Basten. Thoughts Ed {Ed002's Note - I have none about this.}

Hi Ed, do you know if we have any interest in Ganso? thanks. {Ed002's Note - Yes but he has his heart set on AC Milan, but Milan have a non-EU quota issue if they are to sign him. The quota's can be increased by borrowing from other teams in exchange for players on loan - which seems to me like it should not be allowed, but it is.}

hey Ed, are Chelsea interested in Giuseppe Rossi or Nilmar? I think either would be great alternatives to Aguero. {Ed002's Note - Not as far as I am aware.}

ed you say were watching the sanchez situation but would we get neymar and sanchez
would sort the left and right wing positions {Ed002's Note - There is no reason that both could not arrive, but whilst Chelsea remain aware of the Sanchez situation I am not convinced that he will be making the move. As a reminder I will try and explain what I know to be correct and what is “rumoured” about Alexis Sanchez. We know that Chelsea and Inter Milan have made unsuccessful bids, and we know that Manchester United and Barcelona have a declared interest. Juventus had previously been interested but were hoping that (a) Sanchez stayed under the radar until a deal could be struck, and (b) Udinese would look kindly on an arrangement that included some cash and several players either in exchange, on loan or in part-ownership as part of the deal. As an aside Juventus have proposed a similar deal for Javier Pastore. Anyway, there was a January meeting with Chelsea in Monaco and broad agreement was reached over the transfer before Giampaolo Pozzo said that the deal must include a loan of the player back to Udinese. Whilst Barcelona were apparently willing to agree to this until the end of the season, Pozzo proposed that whoever Sanchez moved to should allow him to be loaned back for 18 months – hence the end of any discussions. I expect that Juventus will not come back in to the picture. Although Sanchez has been watched by numerous teams including Roma, there is nothing new other than Manchester City preparing a bid for the player as well. They have, like Juventus, recently been knocked back in a bid for Pastore and are likely to aim their cheque book in another direction – this may well be Sanchez. The advantage they have, in addition to being able to match any transfer fee, is the ability to put together a wage deal far beyond anything the other clubs could afford or would be willing to pay. I suspect that we will see this whole saga drag out through the summer transfer window as Pozzo puts the player on the market, takes him off the market, values him at €100M and so on. Manchester United, Chelsea, Barcelona and Inter will all likely remain interested but could well tire of the expected drawn-out negotiations. Manchester United and Chelsea were both originally wary of the player being not quite as robust as needs be for the EPL. Perhaps Inter will get their man or perhaps Sanchez will take an offer from Manchester City or respond positively to reported interest from the nice folks at Real Madrid.}
